Though classified as an elixir, it takes up neither the Guardian nor the Battle slot. Thus, it will coexist with a Guardian/Battle elixir combination or a flask. It will, however, be overwritten by Elixir of Detect Demon, and vice versa.(##RESPBREAK##)2056##DELIM##adashiel##DELIM##

why would someone use this or need it? there doesn't seem to be a good use for it as far as i can tell...

Really nice for the non-paladins that can't track undead. I love using this when rep grinding in the Plaguelands.

Also find it handy for the Sunken Temple instance. I want to make sure i don't run into a huge group of undead trolls!

This potion is so cheep to make, why wouldn't you use it?

I found this potion to be particularly usefull when questing in the Western Plaguelands. Not only does it put a blip on the mini-radar for each undead around you, it also identifies them when you "mouse-over" the blips. I used this to find the mini-bosses around the cauldrens, and to find an undead quest giver in a building. Note that it is most effective if you zoom in a few clicks on the mini-map.

Another excelent use for this potion is in the Scarlet side of Stratholm, particularly when you are 5-maning it. This instance has scripted occasional encounters with groups of undead. These groups come up from behind you often right after you finish a fight. Using the potion greatly helps to elimitate the surprise factor.

Finally a good use for this to find the skeleton in Zskera Vaults without opening doors. But on my server it is 750g on the AH and is gray.
