If you need this for the Dreadsteed slowly buy it off AH, spam it on Trade, or gather the 30 Ghost Mushrooms (3 per elixir) needed and find someone to make them.

On some newer servers, finding the mushrooms or the potions can be very difficult and pricey. Start several levels prior to 60 looking every day in the AH for either the mushroom or the potions themselves.

As of 2.2, you only need 2 of these (or 6 ghost mushrooms+ vials) to complete the Dreadsteed chain.

One of the most expensive pots in the game, outside of flasks. Not worth it by a longshot. I'd be surprised if it was made more than than once or twice per day on an entire server given its utility and cost.

It's mean to rip off warlocks by selling these way overprices!

All the warlocks that need 10 of these, just buy the mats and ask if any of your guildies can make the potions for you.

Me and a few others on Balnazzar seem to be in a bidding war for these babies, and none of us ever loose.

To sell these pots you should treat them as wildvine, as in don't sell them in a full stack as that will not sell.

I checked this morning, 5 potions I had put on sold easily for 3g BO, and so did the other 10 that were on the AH at the time. (and I mean 5x 3gold + deposit)

They rarely sell during the week however, best to sell them during the weekend when most players are online. And if you're over level 46, the magic 'shrooms are pretty easy to farm in Hinterlands, and been told some are in Mara too? Tho can't prove that as yet.

In Bronzebeard, I've seen 5 sell for 22 gold in the AH. Yesterday I got 10 gold for 2.

these pots arent just for locks but a shadow priest would be crazy not to want these babes. i was wondering if the pot buff stacked with the flask of supreme power though. +190 damage would be delicous.

theyr r selling ghost mushrooms for 5g a pop cuz theyr think theyr hard to get
and they sell the elixirs for 25g each
wtf that is the biggest rip off ever

Im currently a 57 lock on Gorgonnash server, dropped my 325 skinning to pick up herbs as soon as i realized that i need 30 of these shrooms for 10 elixers of shadow power.. GOt to 300 herbs in 3 days LOL SO if u need the shrooms or the elixers send me mail or pst me if im on I will give u a deal, im no alchemist but i know one that will make the pots pretty cheap basically just cost of the vials and a small tip :)

At level 70 with an epic mount you can farm nine of the ghost mushrooms in about 10 minutes from the two spots in The Hinterlands. As for overcharging for these I have mixed feelings. I am a 375 alchemist and some of the potions/elixirs that everyone needs that are not vendor sellable but drops are on the AH for 200 gold. I have sold the Elixir of Shadow Power for 10 gold a pop in the past. A couple of times some level 60 warlock has hit me up with a tell asking me if I can sell it to them for cheaper. When I get tells like that I tell them sure. Anyways if you really need these potions pay a level 70 that is an alchemist five gold for them to farm the ghost mushroons.

why do people have 2 sell them so high on the AH because i was 2 lazy 2 go out and get everything myself or it was cos i dont know where 2 get them so i checked the AH and 40g for 1 and i wasnt paying 80g for something i can prob get for free if i get the mats :)

This morning i saw 12 Ghost mushroom for 1.15g BO so i snatched it immediately. I created 4 of these babies and put them in stacks of 2 for 22g.

The AH was deserted because it was 3am in the morning. As i put the second stack on the AH this 60 lock rocked up right beside me. I notice the trade chat "LF1M Scholo". I knew exactly what was about to ensue.

Lock: "OMFG really cost that much?"
Me: "No... I just know locks need them for their epic mount quest... Im so evil"
Lock: "=\"

Knowing where the conversation was heading i quickly snatched up the remaining Ghost Mushroom's on the AH.

Lock: "If i get can you the mats can you make some for me?"
Me: "Sure man nps - 3x a pop"
Lock: "Cool"
...
Lock: "Dammit none on AH!"
Me: "Oh man bad luck dude :("

So I thought I'd be nice and do my kind gesture for the month, I opened up trade and gave him one for free :). That'll fix my guilt issues right?

Lock: "Oh god now i only need one more!"

I need to buy 10 of them for my epic mount quest, but TBC and the apparition of Major Elixir of Shadow power killed the market for this one and it hardly ever appears on AH. Alchemists know that it's needed for locks so they put it for insane prices, when they actually put it. It can go up to 15g per pot.
