One of the First Rare Plate Items a Warrior or Paladin may get at 40. This Pair of gauntlets have a nice amount of armor and +7 defense which is a great start for the warrior in his/her tanking role. These will also come with a random stat or 2 changing its value for the 2 referred classes as found.

I ran Ulda multiple times for these gloves to get the one I wanted. Just hit 50 with them and will last me a few more levels, likely until I start trying for the Lightforge ones.

Howabout lets say they are perfect for any tanking class capable of wearing plate? Depending on the modifier that you see when they drop they may be better suited towards one class than the other.

When posting you really must take into consideration that just because an item would benefit one class, does not mean another class can make good use of it as well.

I got it from killing one of those stone things in Uldaman, it was that paticular one, thats harder to kill. Not Archadus

just picked ...of the bear +10 stam +11 str. this prot war is loving it :D

I have these on my main that I farmed it for transmog. Except my main is a hunter and I still have them in my bank to prove this. It used to be a mail item not a plate item, the tradable item was plate. I went to farm this In Uldaman in Wotlk classic, getting ready for transmog. Maybe they changed it to plate in cata but not in Wotlk I am sure that is when I farmed them. Will have to bring this up with Blizzard.

Farmed Uldaman for the "of the Bear" affix of these in SoD Phase 2 for my paladin tank. Not a bad alternative to the suggested (and expensive) BiS Plated Fist of Hakoo.
