We have our team at BlizzCon down in Anaheim and some of us are watching the stream at home. We're bringing you the latest and liveblogging the opening ceremony plus the World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm panels. Be ready to hear tons of news about your favorite titles. We know that there will be a new WoW expansion, a new D3 expansion, and even a brand new game!

Heroes of the Storm
and it looks amazing. Kerrigan, Tyrael, Raynor, Nova, and Lich King are fighting each other. It's an homage to everything Blizzard stands for. Talks about its origins; it was at one point just a map, touring through the BlizzCons of yesteryear. Now it's become an actual game.

Alpha video of Heroes of the Storm is playing now. There are jungle camps like in Dota 2 and League of Legends, there are two bases. This is a standard MOBA with an awesome Blizzard twist. There seem to be iconic Blizzard type maps--a ship that reminds you of Theramore, Harvest Golems that look like something out of Westfall, and even mines that look like the Dead Mines.

Battlegrounds are NOT just maps. They are all worlds with their own characters and environments: "We're going to visit Blackheart Bay and going to collect treasure for an evil pirate lord. You can go to the Haunted Mines where you can collect skulls to combine them to summon a grave golem. You can go to the Dragonshire to capture two points, Obelisk of the Sun and Moon. One hero from the team can go to the alter and get transformed into a demigod."

We heard you guys like golden cards, so there's going to be golden heroes. They are creating a NEW RANKED PLAY mode where you can earn these.
