Sony has added
a Diablo IV page to the official PlayStation Store
, and players are now able to wishlist the game. While not providing any new updates regarding Diablo IV's release date, the page features general information about Blizzard's upcoming ARPG title:
PS Plus required for online play
Supports up to 4 online players with PS Plus
Online play optional
1 - 2 players
DUALSHOCK 4 vibration
As usual, PlayStation players need an active PS Plus subscription to play the game online - however, the list also mentions that online play is optional. The availability of a fully functional offline mode has been a hot topic in the community - in Diablo II: Resurrected,
players still need to go online at least once within 30 days of playing offline
.
In other good news, Blizzard seems to double-down on a key feature of Diablo games on consoles: Diablo IV players will be able to play the game in local "couch" co-op mode with up to two players in front of the same screen. The

statement also further indicates that party size in Diablo IV will be set to 4 players.
