Large Plaguefall Mythic+ Buff in Patch 9.1 - Plagueborer Bombs Significantly Limited

On the 9.1 PTR, the Plaguefall dungeon has undergone another change which will greatly impact Mythic+ strategies. The number of Plagueborer bombs that you can use in the dungeon is now limited, making this dungeon much more difficult to time next patch, especially for high push key groups.
Plaguefall Plagueborer Bombs
Plagueborer Bombs have been the popular strategy in Mythic+ Plaguefall as the damage that they deal with

scales with key level. Every strategy for high keys that has been done in Plaguefall usually revolves around the

as an infinite number of them spawn from the miniboss

while he remains alive.

Bomb the first boss making it much easier.
Bomb all the trash between the 1st and 2nd bosses.

with MInd Control.

with Snapping.
However, in Patch 9.1 this strategy will mostly be coming to an end. At first, Blizzard thought they will just nerf the
Bomba Pestilenziale
spell by 40% in
a PTR update
. However, it's clear that this nerf wasn't going to be enough.
Plagueborer Changes in Patch 9.1
There are some large changes coming to Plagueborers coming in Patch 9.1.
Bomba Pestilenziale
duration reduced to 6 seconds.
All static spawned
Trivellapiaga Manomesso
have been replaced by
Trivellapiaga Miserabile
.
Virulax Tessimorbo
will only summon 4 waves of two
Trivellapiaga Manomesso
.
Trivellapiaga Miserabile
adds are functionally the exact same as
Trivellapiaga Manomesso
except they will not cast
Bomba Pestilenziale
under any circumstance. The only
Trivellapiaga Manomesso
s that you'll have are during the gauntlet and now you only get 8.

replace the
Trivellapiaga Miserabile
in static trash.
Players will now have a maximum of 8

s to use in Patch 9.1.
These
Trivellapiaga Manomesso
spawn and detonate on a strict timer when the gauntlet is started, so you'll only be able to bomb things near the gauntlet. But because you're on a strict schedule with the gauntlet, you're going ot have to try to make sure that every single bomb is used correctly or else you're just going to lose time. This also makes groups actually kill the rest of the dungeon instead of bombing anything.
