How is the data powered?

This data is powered by Warcraft Logs API, and you can dive further into detail on player profiles via their powerful rankings system. For the Talent Calculator, we are pulling the data from the top 100 Mythic ranks from the most-recently tracked patch rankings on Warcraft Logs, so 7.3 for Tomb of Sargeras and 7.2.5 for Nighthold. If there are no parses, such as at the start of raid progression, we'll dip into data from lower difficulties.

Based on feedback in the comments, we will likely add a tooltip on mouseover explaining the data is pulled from top Mythic parses. We have considered toggling between top data per difficulty, but due to the nature of the API, it may pose serious challenges.
