N'lyeth, Sliver of N'Zoth - Kill Your Own Faction for N'Zoth Toy and Title

With the latest 8.3 PTR build, players who wish to further serve N'Zoth can do so in World PvP! With the help of
N'lyeth, Scaglia di N'zoth
, you are able to become a Servant of N'Zoth and attack your own faction's members. Killing them enough times grants you a toy that has a similar effect,
N'lyeth, Scaglia di N'zoth
, and a title, .
As of the latest PTR build, you
CAN
obtain this title even after cleansing the
Dono di N'zoth
, and the title is currently account-wide!
To unlock the toy, you will first need to turn War Mode on and become an
Assassino dell'Alleanza
or
Assassino dell'Orda
by killing 10 players of the opposite faction without dying in Kul Tiras or Zandalar. The moment you reach Assassin, you will be offered a new quest from an unseen presence (presumably N'Zoth himself), requesting you to prove your worth to him by slaying members of your own faction.
There are two versions of this quest:

for Alliance players, and

for Horde players.
By accepting the quest, you will receive
N'lyeth, Scaglia di N'zoth
, which can be used to transform your character into a
Servitore di N'zoth
, but be careful - Using the item will damage you by 60% of your maximum health, so make sure you're fully healed before using it! The effect is quite cool, covering your character in tentacles and a void aura. The effect lasts for 1 hour.
The quest requires you to kill 10 of your own faction's members without dying. Dying at any point will automatically fail the quest, and you will need to reach Assassin again to start the quest over.
Completing the quest awards you a toy version of
N'lyeth, Scaglia di N'zoth
that allows you to become a Shath'yar without requiring reaching Assassin, as well as the Feat of Strength

, which awards the title . According to
N'lyeth, Scaglia di N'zoth
's description, you are able to become a Servant of N'Zoth in Kul Tiras, Zandalar, Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Fun Facts
This new PvP system is similar to other PvP systems seen in the past such as the
Incensiere dell'Agonia Eterna
from Timeless Isle in Pandaria and
Artiglio d'Avorio
from Talon's Vengeance in Legion, except this time, the focus is to betray and kill your own faction. It is currently unknown if there are further rewards to serving N'Zoth in this fashion besides the PvP title and toy.
Some other things to know while you're a servant of N'Zoth:
Like all other same-faction PvP items, killing someone while a Servant of N'Zoth will trigger
Sacrificato a N'zoth
for 10 minutes. Players killed while affected by the debuff will not grant credit towards the Servant of N'Zoth quest.
While you're a Servant of N'Zoth, you will speak in Shath'yar, the language of the Old Gods.
You will be neutral to your faction's NPCs, not outright hostile. You are able to traverse through your faction's areas without being attacked, but you will be unable to interact with any NPCs.
In N'Zoth invasion zones, invading forces will be also neutral to you (except for the damned
Grande Verme dell'Aldilà
, who will still slow you with

as of the most recent PTR build).
Attacking your faction's members near one of your faction's settlement will trigger the guards to attack you as if you were part of the opposite faction.
Killing members of your faction while a Servant of N'Zoth grants both HKs and Honor, and if you kill enough of them, you can even become

! However, your faction won't see your bounty on the map and they won't be able to claim a bounty bag if they kill you.
