We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.Q: How do I get into the raid zone?A: In Oribos, Dalaran, Orgrimmar, or Stormwind, you may speak to Nexus-Lord Donjon Rade IV in order to teleport into the raid zone while it is open for testing. (The option to teleport into a zone will not be available when the zone is not open for testing.)Q: What character should I use to test the raid?A: Whichever you prefer. We will be scaling players’ effective level to 60 for raid testing, and their item level to an appropriate threshold for the encounter(s) being tested.Q: How long does testing last?A: The primary purpose of testing is to give us the information we need to balance the encounters, evaluate how mechanics are playing out in practice, and identify bugs. Overview: Fatescribe Roh-Kalo uses the Loom of Fates, hoping to fashion a Dark Destiny for players who dare attack him. Quick action to realign the Loom of Fates will foil the Fatescribe's plans.

Tanks:
Move away from your allies when affected by [Heroic Destiny].
Be wary of triggering [Precognition] more frequently than required.
Assist in moving the Loom of Fate to counteract [Realign Fate].
Damage Dealers:
Place [Call of Eternity] where it will not damage your allies.
Assist in moving the Loom of Fate to counteract [Realign Fate].
Healers:
Tanks will take significantly increased damage when [Precognition] is active.
Targets affected by [Call of Eternity] will suffer heavy damage.
Assist in moving the Loom of Fate to counteract [Realign Fate].

Stage One: Scrying Fate:
Fatescribe Roh-Kalo twists fate itself into a weapon, reading players and spells to exploit their predictable weaknesses.

Burden of Destiny

Burden of Destiny: A shade of the player spawns and fixates the player after 75 sec., inflicting 8262 Shadow damage every 2 sec and increasing damage taken by 75%.
If the shade comes within 5 yards or reaches full energy, it triggers Overwhelming Burden.
Killing the shade removes this effect.

Overwhelming Burden: Inflicts 55083 Shadow damage to all players every 2 sec for 10 sec.

Echo of Eternity: 8 sec sec after players are afflicted by Call of Eternity, all Echoes of Eternity explode and are destroyed in the process, inflicting 44066 Shadow damage to all players within 20 yards of the Echo. (Heroic, Mythic)

Call of Eternity: Inflicts 8 Shadow damage every 2 sec for8 sec.
The target explodes on expiration, striking all players within 20 yards for 30296 Shadow damage. (Normal, Raid Finder)

Stage Two: Defying Destiny:
Fatescribe Roh-Kalo activates the Loom of Fates, amplifing those threads which empower him and hasten the demise of his enemies.

The Loom of Fates

Realignment: Clockwise: An odd number of players within an active rune rotates the attached ring clockwise.
Realignment: Counterclockwise: An even number of players within an active rune rotates the attached ring counterclockwise.
Runic Affinity: Attune to a rune on the Loom of Fates, protecting the player from further applications of Unstable Accretion. (Mythic)

Realign Fate: Fatescribe Roh-Kalo activates the Loom of Fate, pushing the runes representing his own fate into a new alignment. While he is doing so, his damage taken is reduced by 99%.
The power derived from this builds in Roh-Kalo, until he is able to invoke the Darkest Destiny for all players.
Realigning the runes to their original orientation re-connects Roh-Kalo to his true fate.

Fatespawn Anomaly

Anomalous Blast: Strikes a single nearby enemy for 13771 Shadow damage instantly and 6610 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 8 sec.

Fate Fragment: Fragments of possible fates pass through the arena as Fatescribe Roh-Kalo realigns his own fate.
Touching one of these fragments triggers Frayed Fate.

Frayed Fate: The player's threads of fate fray after contact with a Fate Fragment, inflicting 38558 Shadow damage instantly and slowing the player's movement by 0 for 4 sec.

Darkest Destiny: With fate realigned in his favor, Fatescribe Roh-Kalo invokes the darkest possible destiny, ensuring swift and unceremonious deaths for all players.

Unstable Fate: Inflicts 7712 Shadow damage to all players every 3 sec.

Unstable Accretion: The power contained within the Loom of Fates rots at players' souls with prolonged exposure. After 10 stacks, an affected player suffers 500 Shadow damage. (Mythic)

Stage Three: Fated Terminus:
Desperate to gain any edge he can, Fatescribe Roh-Kalo begins to meddle with his enemies' fates while he continues his assault.

The Loom of Fates

Realignment: Clockwise: An odd number of players within an active rune rotates the attached ring clockwise.
Realignment: Counterclockwise: An even number of players within an active rune rotates the attached ring counterclockwise.

Extemporaneous Fate: Fatescribe Roh-Kalo hastily adjusts the Loom of Fates to invoke an Extemporaneous Fate.
If any rune remains out of place after 30 sec, Roh-Kalo invokes Darkest Destiny.

Darkest Destiny: With fate realigned in his favor, Fatescribe Roh-Kalo invokes the darkest possible destiny, ensuring swift and unceremonious deaths for all players.

Heroic Destiny: Fatescribe Roh-Kalo twists the current threat target's threads of fate, inflicting 15 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 8 sec.
When this effect expires, the threads of fate rebound violently, creating a Burden of Destiny and inflicting up to 95 Shadow damage to all players.
This damage is reduced the further away players are from the blast.

Burden of Destiny

Burden of Destiny: A shade of the player spawns and fixates the player after 75 sec., inflicting 8262 Shadow damage every 2 sec and increasing damage taken by 75%.
If the shade comes within 5 yards or reaches full energy, it triggers Overwhelming Burden.
Killing the shade removes this effect.

Overwhelming Burden: Inflicts 55083 Shadow damage to all players every 2 sec for 10 sec.

Diviner's Probe: Each time Fatescribe Roh-Kalo attacks a new target, he eagerly probes that target several times to ascertain their nature.

Diviner's Probe inflicts 30296 Shadow damage to the current threat target.
Twist Fate: Twists the Threads of Fate attached to several players, inflicting 7712 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 6 sec.
Fated Conjunction: Fatescribe Roh-Kalo triggers a Fated Conjunction, causing four beams of energy to erupt from around the space after a 6 second delay.
The beams inflict 46820 Shadow damage to targets caught in the blast, and increase damage taken from Fated Conjunction by 50% for 1 min.
Call of Eternity: Inflicts 8 Shadow damage every 2 sec for8 sec.

The target explodes on expiration, striking all players within 20 yards for 30296 Shadow damage. The explosion leaves behind an Echo of Eternity. (Heroic, Mythic)

Remnant of Ner'zhul

Intended to herald the Jailer's reign on Azeroth, the first Lich King, Ner'zhul, proved unworthy in his master's eyes. The last remnants of the fallen orc's twisted soul were encased in spiked shadowsteel, condemned to everlasting torment for his failure. All who cross his path will share in his suffering.

Overview: The Remnant of Ner'zhul's torment manifests itself as Orbs of Torment throughout the encounter. Players must dispatch these Orbs of Torment and then throw them off of the platform while managing the effects of Curse of Malevolence to avoid falling off themselves.
As player damage the Remnant of Ner'zhul, its armor will fall off, trigger a significant amount of damage and alter the Remnant of Ner'zhul's [Aura of Spite].

Tanks:
The Remnant of Ner'zhul uses [Blight] when reaching 100 energy.
[Suffering] is cast at you when [Blight] ends.
Orbs of Torment take significantly more by hitting the orb with [Suffering].
[Curse of Malevolence] knocks back all players from the position of the victim upon expiration.
[Spite] will silence you if you are hit by its impact.
Damage Dealers:
Orbs of Torment take significantly more damage after hitting the orb with [Suffering].
Orbs of Torment continually damage all players via [Torment] until they are carried to the edge of the platform, where they can be thrown off to the depths below.
[Curse of Malevolence] knocks back all players from the position of the victim upon expiration.
[Spite] will silence you if you are hit by its impact.
Healers:
Orbs of Torment continually damage all players via [Torment] until they are carried to the edge of the platform, where they can be thrown off to the depths below.
[Curse of Malevolence] knocks back all players from the position of the victim upon expiration and inflicts signifcant damage to the raid.
[Curse of Malevolence] can be dispelled early.
[Spite] will silence you if you are hit by its impact.

Orb of Torment: Orbs of Torment are unkillable. Once the Orb of Torment is reduced to 1 hp it will continue to damage players with [Torment] until it is carried to the edge of the platform and thrown off.

Torment: Shoots random players with Shadow energy, causing them to suffer 8275 Shadow damage every 3 sec. for 15 sec.
Thermal Lament: Carrying the Orb of Torment causes you to take 2754 Frost damage every 3 sec. and slows your movement speed by 15%. This effect stacks.

Malevolence: Curses random targets with Malevolence for 21 sec. When this effect ends all players are knocked back from the victim's location and take 11029 Shadow damage.
The duration of Curse of Malevolence varies with the number of targets hit.
In Heroic and Mythic Raid difficulties, an area of Lingering Malevolence is created when Curse of Malevolence ends.
In Mythic Raid Difficulty, Malevolence also affects the Rattlecage of Agony while it is on the ground.

Lingering Malevolence: The burst of Malevolence leaves an area that inflicts 30 Shadow damage every sec to players standing within its confines. (Heroic, Mythic)

Blight: Strikes the target for 16531 Physical damage and causes them to suffer for an additional 5508 Shadow damage every 1 sec for 6 sec.
When Blight expires, Ner'zhul will cast Suffering on them.
The Remnant of Ner'zhul uses this ability when it reaches 100 energy.
When [Blight] ends, the Remnant of Ner'zhul will cast [Suffering] at the victim.
In Mythic Raid Difficulty, after the Helm of Suffering falls to the ground it will also cast [Suffering] at the victim when [Blight] ends.

Suffering: Blasts all players in a straight line through the target for 16531 Shadow damage.
Victims takes an additional 500% damage from Suffering for 20 sec.
Orbs of Torment in the path of [Suffering] will take an additional 300% damage from all sources.

Grasp of Malice: Summons ethereal fingers of Malice that will collapse inward, then explode outward.
Victims caught in the blast suffer 27541 Shadow damage and are knocked back.
In Mythic Raid Difficulty, the Malicious Gauntlet will also cast Grasp of Malice while it is on the ground.
Aura of Spite: Inflicts 4402 Shadow damage to all players every 3 sec.
Starting with the first shattered armor piece, Aura of Spite triggers volleys of Shadowy missiles to fire out at players. Each armor piece shattered increases the damage of Aura of Spite and increases the number of Shadow missiles fired with each volley.
Shatter: A piece of the armor imprisoning the Remnant of Ner'zhul breaks off, releasing 16525 Shadow damage to all players.

Soulrender Dormazain

Soulrender Dormazain extracts anima from the hellaciously brutish captives of Torghast to fuel the Jailer's armies. The tormentor has never met a soul he couldn't break, but his latest victim is proving resistant to the usual methods. Feeding on this captive's unending rage, Dormazain will enjoy spending millennia finding his weaknesses.

Mawsworn Agonizers repeatedly cast [Agonizing Spike] and are susceptible to the effects of crowd control until they reach the Vessel of Torment or reach full energy, gaining [Defiance].
[Brand of Torment] increases damage taken by Allies and Mawsworn.
Healers:
Garrosh will [Hellscream] while bound by [Warmonger Shackles].
[Encore of Torment] inflicts heavy damage in locations where [Torment] previously impacted.
[Brand of Torment] increases damage taken by Allies and Mawsworn.

Soulrender Dormazain: Defeat Dormazain before Garrosh is pushed too far, reverberating Hellscream and destroying the torture chamber and everything along with it.

Torment: Dormazain torments Garrosh, unleashing cones of Anima inflicting 60594 Shadow damage and 13771 Shadow damage every 2 sec for 6 sec to players caught in the wake. This effect stacks.
Encore of Torment: In a gruesome exhibition, Dormazain retraces Torments previously inflicted upon Garrosh, causing Torment to erupt repeatedly.
Mawsworn Agonizer

Agonizing Spike: Agonizers surge spikes of agony at random players, inflicting 11029 Shadow damage and slowing all players within 5 yds for 6 sec.
Defiance: Garrosh's anima overwhelms the caster with defiance, becoming immune to all forms of crowd control and increasing all damage done by 200%.

Mawsworn Overlord (Mythic)

Infuse Defiance: Mawsworn Overlords empower nearby Mawsworn Agonizers within 16 yds, temporarily granting Defiance while in the effect.

Defiance: Garrosh's anima overwhelms the caster with defiance, becoming immune to all forms of crowd control and increasing all damage done by 200%.

Defiant: If allowed to reach Garrosh, Mawsworn Overlords instead empower nearby Mawsworn Agonizers within 50 yds, temporarily granting Defiance while in the effect.

Brand of Torment: Dormazain brands players, debilitating any players in the effect with Tormented. Tormented inflicts 22 Shadow damage every 2 sec to all players and Mawsworn within 25 yds.
Tormented Mawsworn receive increased damage taken by 50%.

Tormented: Increases damage received by 50% to nearby Mawsowrn within 5 yds and inflicting 11017 Shadow damage every 2 sec to nearby Allies and Mawsworn within 5 yds.

Ruinblade: Dormazain plunges Ruinblade into his current target, inflicting 66099 Physical damage and increasing Physical damage taken by 100% for 40 sec. This effect stacks.
Warmonger Shackles: The Tormentor binds Garrosh with ghastly shackles interlinked by casualties of war, causing Garrosh to Hellscream until freed. Move at least 40 yards away from the Warmonger Shackle to snap it.
Snapping all Warmonger Shackles interrupts Hellscream.
Snapping a Warmonger Shackle Unleashes Tyranny.

Unleashed Tyranny: Upon snapping a Warmonger Shackle, the interlinked souls connecting the chains retaliate in unison, unleashing a nova of Tyranny inflicting 22033 Nature damage to all players.
Hellscream: While subjected to Warmonger's Shackles, Garrosh bellows a lethal roar which can only be interrupted if Warmonger Shackles are removed.

Hellscream: Pushed to the edge of annihilation, Garrosh bellows a hellacious roar inflicting 55019 Physical damage to all players every 1 sec.
Lok'tar ogar!
In Heroic difficulty and Mythic difficulties, Hellscream also fears all players.

Soul Manacles: Binds the soul of a player upon snapping a Warmonger Shackle, preventing them from interacting with Warmonger Shackles and inflicting 3856 Shadow damage every 2 sec for until canceled. (Heroic, Mythic)

Garrosh Hellscream: Witness torment inflicted upon Garrosh, unleashing torrents of powerful Anima which impact the playspace and empower Mawsworn in excruciating ways.

Hellscream: While subjected to Warmonger's Shackles, Garrosh bellows a lethal roar which can only be interrupted if Warmonger Shackles are removed.

Hellscream: Pushed to the edge of annihilation, Garrosh bellows a hellacious roar inflicting 55019 Physical damage to all players every 1 sec.

Rendered Soul: The Torments inflicted upon Garrosh have shattered his soul, causing it to splinter periodically into the playspace, inflcting 33050 Shadow damage to all players within 5 yds of the impact. (Mythic, Heroic)

Vessel of Torment: Mawsworn allowed to reach Garrosh become empowered with Defiance.
The River of Souls empowers the Vessel of Torment and wanes on the life force of nearby players, inflicting 8262 Shadow damage every 0.2 sec and reducing damage and healing done by 100%.

Defiance: Garrosh's anima overwhelms the caster with defiance, becoming immune to all forms of crowd control and increasing all damage done by 200%.

Painsmith Raznal is a sadistic mastermind who spent eons perfecting the deadly traps found in Torghast. He relishes the screams of his victims as a testament to his skill, listening with malignant delight as they echo through the tower's desolate halls.

Assist in finding the correct way through the maze.
Avoid being hit by the Spiked Arena when it activates.
Damage Dealers:
Move away when targeted for [Soul Mine].
Assist in finding the correct way through the maze.
Avoid being hit by the Spiked Arena when it activates.
Attack Stygian Balls when they are [Charged].
Move together for [Devastate].
Healers:
Move away when targeted for [Soul Mine].
Assist in finding the correct way through the maze.

Chamber of Spikes:
Raznal's chamber is built from razor sharp spikes that erupt from the floor.

Spiked: Floor spikes inflict 41312 Physical damage and stun the target for 2 sec.

Instruments of Pain

Rippling Hammer: Raznal hurls his hammer after 6 sec, inflicting 348513 Physical damage to the target and 200 Fire damage to all other players. Players farther from the target take less damage.
Spikes ripple outwards from the target's location. Applies Blackened Armor.

Blackened Armor: Inflicts 8262 Fire damage every 1 sec and increases Physical damage taken by 200% for 36 sec.

Cruciform Axe: Raznal hurls his axe after 6 sec, inflicting 200 Physical damage to all players. Players farther from the detonation take less damage.
Spikes erupt in four directions from the detonation point.

Blackened Armor: Inflicts 8262 Fire damage every 1 sec and increases Physical damage taken by 200% for 36 sec.

Spiked Balls: The Painsmith unleashes a row of spiked balls that roll slowly across the room. Players caught in their path are Crushed.

Crushed: Crushed by a spiked ball, inflicting 110166 Physical damage and stunning you for 8 sec.

Soul Mine: The boss throws out multiple explosives at random enemies.
Stepping on a Soul Mine, having a roll over it, or having the spike floor activate underneath it causes the Soul Mine to explode, inflicting 6885 Shadow damage and increasing damage taken from further Soul Mines by 100% for 3 sec. (Heroic, Mythic)
Shadowsteel Chains: Raznal marks several players and after 6 sec shackles them with agonizing chains, inflicting 12 damage every 1 sec for 20 sec.
Once shackled, players knockback and inflict 40 Physical damage to allies within 5 yards.
Intermission: The Black Anvil:
Painsmith Raznal leaps to his anvil and begins work on a new weapon. As he works, spikes erupt throughout the room.

Spiked: Floor spikes inflict 41312 Physical damage and stun the target for 2 sec.

Tormented: Increases damage received by 50% to nearby Mawsowrn within 5 yds and inflicting 11017 Shadow damage every 2 sec to nearby Allies and Mawsworn within 5 yds.

Ruinblade: Dormazain plunges Ruinblade into his current target, inflicting 66099 Physical damage and increasing Physical damage taken by 100% for 40 sec. This effect stacks.

Crushed: Crushed by a spiked ball, inflicting 110166 Physical damage and stunning you for 8 sec.

Soul Mine: The boss throws out multiple explosives at random enemies.
Stepping on a Soul Mine, having a roll over it, or having the spike floor activate underneath it causes the Soul Mine to explode, inflicting 6885 Shadow damage and increasing damage taken from further Soul Mines by 100% for 3 sec. (Heroic, Mythic)
Shadowsteel Chains: Raznal marks several players and after 6 sec shackles them with agonizing chains, inflicting 12 damage every 1 sec for 20 sec.
Once shackled, players knockback and inflict 40 Physical damage to allies within 5 yards.
Intermission: The Black Anvil:
Painsmith Raznal leaps to his anvil and begins work on a new weapon. As he works, spikes erupt throughout the room.

Spiked: Floor spikes inflict 41312 Physical damage and stun the target for 2 sec.

The Guardian will activate [Energizing Link] while standing near an Energy Core.
The Guardian gains significant attack speed while [Purging Protocol] is active.
Damage Dealers:
Standing in [Radiant Energy] greatly reduces the effects of [Unstable Energy].
[Threat Neutralization] inflicts substantial Arcane damage to the targeted player and nearby allies.
Healers:
Standing in [Radiant Energy] greatly reduces the effects of [Unstable Energy].
[Purging Protocol] inflicts ramping Arcane damage to all players when the Guardian has 0 energy.

Purging Protocol: Upon reaching 0 energy the Guardian pulses inflicting 27541 Arcane damage to all players and destroying any active Sentries.
The damage done by Purging Protocol is increased by 100% each subsequent cast.
Elimination Pattern: The Guardian performs a two part attack on their primary target.

Shatter: The Guardian shatters their target, inflicting 82624 Physical damage to players within 6 yards and increases Physical damage taken by 100% for 40 sec.
Obliterate: The Guardian obliterates its primary target inflicting 82624 Physical damage. Additionally, Obliteration inflicts 220332 Arcane damage split evenly among all players within 6 yards of the primary target.

This applies Obliteration to each target struck, increasing damage taken from Obliteration by 500% for 30 sec. (Heroic, Mythic)
Smash: The Guardian strikes the target, inflicting 110166 Physical damage to the target and allies within 6 yards.

Form Sentry: The Guardian originates a sentry that patrols around the Guardian and inflicts 20 Arcane damage to random players every 1 sec. Sentry units maintain a Suppression Field while active.

Suppression Field: The Sentry maintains a Suppression Field beneath it. Inflicting 3305 Arcane damage every 2 sec and pacifying players standing in the area.

Energy Bombardment: Upon expiration, inflicts 50 Arcane damage to all allies within 10 yards.
In Mythic difficulty, striking an Energy Core with this effect restores Energy.
Disintegration: The Guardian disintegrates players in a line in front of it, inflicting 38558 Arcane damage to players struck. This effect also stuns players struck and inflicts an additional 5508 Arcane damage every 1 sec for 6 sec.
Energy Cores

Energy Absorption: Energy Cores begin the encounter drained, striking an Energy Core with Energy Bombardment restores 5 Energy. (Mythic)
Energizing Link: Upon entering a Radiation Field, The Guardian links with the Energy Core, granting it 4 energy every 1 sec.
Radiant Energy: While active, the Energy Core emits a field of Radiant Energy. Players standing in the area take 90% reduced damage from Unstable Energy.

Unstable Energy: While linked to The Guardian, Energy Cores emit pulses of Unstable Energy inflicting 38558 Arcane damage to all players every 1 sec.

Meltdown: The core violently erupts, inflicting 77116 Aracane damage to players within 15 yards and 38558 Arcane damage to players further than 15 yards.
