Video of New Artifact Weapon Models, Black Rook Hold and Ravencourt Zone Preview
17/01/2016 alle 21:01
Legion Artifact Weapons have a vast array of unique styles and tints. While we've been previewing these fairly regularly with our modelviewer updates, Artifact Calculator, and transmog recommendations, we had a bit of exciting news this past Alpha update. Several weapons have additional datamined appearances, implying there may be six available artifact styles.
Will this be a special sixth style players can unlock from difficult content (perhaps Challenge Modes)? Or are they replacement models for some old Artifact designs? The Artifact Appearance system is not yet active on the Alpha so we can't confirm how these styles will be used. Perhaps these models will simply be unused, although we hope the sword that resembles Thunderfury makes an appearance.
Below is a video with high-resolution models of the new Artifact styles, as well as screenshot previews.

Most of Val'sharah is Druid-themed, but one area focuses on the military culture of the Night Elves:
. The spoiler button below reveals more information about the zone.
was originally a Night Elf stronghold used in the War of the Ancients against the Burning Legion, lead by Lord Ravencrest. In Legion, Gul'dan has raised the ghosts of the fortress, who falsely believe they are reliving the War of the Ancients, and anyone they encounter is a demon that must be killed. In the final encounter, it is revealed that Lord Ravencrest's adviser is really a demon in disguise,
, who is controlling him to follow the Legion's orders.
As part of questing in Val'sharah, you help
rescue his sister
, who was captured while trying to chase down Gul'dan and Cordana Felsong after they broke into the Vault of the Wardens and stole Illidan's body. Quests include:
L'Anello con Sigillo delle Custodi
La missione di Jarod
La Guardia del Corvo
Le tracce di Maiev
Prigione di Corvonero
Il tenente della torre
Ravencourt is nothing like we've seen before from a Night Elf area. Most Night Elf areas are brightly-lit with cheerful flowers and vines and the buildings are wooden and whimsical. Black Rook Hold is an imposing fortress on an island, medieval in style, with stone towers, ghosts training for military duty, weapon racks and glaives, an arena, and imposing raven statues as the main type of decoration. A nearby graveyard houses a memorial to Lord Ravencrest as well as banshee spirits that transform into spectral night elves with

through the catacombs and battle upwards to the top of the spire. Similar to the Karazhan tower, this zone has many small side rooms and nooks which add flavor to the zone, but are not a direct path to the boss. After the first boss, there's even a library/control room, with no hostile NPCs--just ghosts by bookshelves and a strategy table with whimsical miniature statues.
