Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking Holiday and Guides (July 17-20)

runs between July 17th and 20th! Run your favorite old instances for ilvl 660-675 loot, and complete

for normal-mode Hellfire Citadel loot.
While this event is active, players level 81 or higher may access a special Timewalking Dungeon Finder queue, which scales players and their items down to revisit past dungeons from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. While Timewalking, bosses will yield loot appropriate for a player's natural level.

How Timewalking Works
For Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking Dungeons, you retain all of your talents but your gear is scaled down to ilvl 160. You can use the "scale ilvl" button on
item search results
, and add stat weights to see which item is ranked the highest when everything is scaled down.
You can also use the "Timewalking Wrath" checkbox on item pages, to see what your own gear scales down to. Since the ilvl is so low, this means you can break out old legendaries--you're not limited to Warlords of Draenor gear!
To queue up for Timewalking, simply visit the Adventure Journal, or use the Group Finder Dungeon section. You can queue up with friends that are not max level, they just need to be level 81 or higher.
Rewards
Loot from Timewalking bosses scales up to ilvl 660 at lvl 100, with a chance it can be
Warforged
and ilvl 675 instead. Use our
Timewarped items filter
or visit our Wrath of the Lich King dungeon pages to see what items you can pick up.
Completing 5 Timewalking dungeons for
Una strada bloccata nel tempo
rewards a
Sigillo del Destino Inevitabile
and a
Cassa del Tesoro della Flotta di Ferro
which can contain any Normal-Mode loot from Hellfire Citadel (ilvl 690-705).
Mounts like
Redini del Proto-Draco Blu
and achievements can be obtained while Timewalking. While it's much easier to do these achievements with lvl 100 gear, it's good to know that you can still get things done in this special dungeon mode.
