When you are going to kill this mob, you have to clear the camp where the map shows. When all the mobs there are dead, it spawns 2 warriors. Kill them, and Murkdeep and one more add comes.

Can be quite hard for a low-lvl, since the mobs are around 15-17 and Murkdeep is lvl 19.

He is at a camp around 35,74 or so, easy to spot - its a couple huts on a beach with murlocs in. YOU HAVE TO KILL ALL THE MOBS to get to Murkdeep. After you knock out the warriors a few lvl 12-13 coastrunners show up, after them more warriors and eventually Murkdeep himself with a few guards. Warriors lvl 15-16, Murkdeep lvl 19.

Make sure that you stand away from the campfire during the last Murloc so you dont aggro everything. You can pull each one alone except for Murkdeep at the end looks like the Hunter is tied to him. In this way you can take your time and heal between kills.

I was fine through clearing the village as a level 16 druid, but died in teh second part when u have all 3 at once. Once i reveived everything started respawning :( In the end, Murkdeep pwned my face cuz he kept pulling with 2 hunters, and therefore i gave up..

As a 17 druid i had problems with this one too, but the trick for the last pull if ya can't handle 2 adds and murkdeep is try to disable murkdeep anyway ya can (entangling roots) and kill the 2 adds first, then you'll probably die but just come back and finish murkdeep off once you've gotten the adds dead.

Overall its easy to complete if ya just have 1 friend or a pet though.

Maybe I was unlucky, but this guy evaded or resisted 3 starfires in a row. And definitely stay away from the fire. After he resisted my spells I went in to get him and got too close. I was instantly swarmed by 3-4 coast runners and his warriors.

it seems that even if you die while taking out the spawned mobs from the water, if you come back and everything's respawned already, all you have to do is kill the ones that spawned. i made the mistake of trying to spawn everything again and then killed the last warrior. murkdeep, the 3 coastrunners, and the 2 hunters that spawn with murkdeep all raped me.

that wasn't fun. i dont recommend it. =\

What I did was go to the exact location where Murkdeep was, I logged off, went on my higher level, and killed everyone in the camp. Then when Murkdeep spawned I killed his body guard, logged out quickly, logged back in and just killed Murkdeep on the character that needed it.

What you can also do, as well as GWARrior's method, is kill everything by pulling EXCEPT the last enemy in the camp. Then drink/eat and so on.

Then, kill him quickly using little mana (if you're a mana-based class) and run AWAY from the camp. This enables you to eat/drink. This is also possible with the other spawned mobs (even Murkdeep).

I did this quest as a 19 priest and I had no troubles. Remember, you just have to kill Murkdeep, not his add/s (speaking of which, he spawned with one Hunter). If you can put the DPS out (or DoTs), just aim for Murkdeep, kill him and get the hell outta there.

this quest is not terribly difficult, i was able to solo as a lvl 16 hunter with a cat pet. just have one on your pet and hammer one by yourself for first wave and with murkdeep just wail on him till he's dead and then mend pet and kill the other

Not very difficult when you can successfully pull the adds.
Soloed as Lv. 16 with Midsummer event buffs. Pulled with wrath, cast entangling roots and moonfire and then spammed wrath. When he came closer, I swapped into bear form and he was dead in seconds. Bonfire's Blessing didn't proc though. It would have been much easier if it did.

to find murkdeep just walk south on the beach from Auberdine....you will eventually find him. It's the first murloc hovel you run into...after hitting 2 beached sea creatures which you should loot to turn in 2 quests to the chick by the gryphons for about 500xp each and 3s. Have fun!

I took this quest on at lvl18 druid. Murkdeep has 2 other goons so get help from someone else about the same level. I did it with a 16 warlock w/no probs.

The coordinates are 36.76(Or 36.77, 37.76 etc.)

First you have to kill 3 lvl 12-13 Greymist Coastrunners. If you dont see them, just wait. They will spawn after a short time. Remember, that if you pull one, they all will attack you.

When they are dead, 2 lvl 16 Greymist warriors spawn, and attack you, if you aren't careful.

Kill them, and then Murkdeep spawns with Greymist Hunter. He is lvl 19, and hunter is lv 16. Kill him!

I just wiped out the entire camp and murkdeep is nowhere to be seen. Im guessing there is a % chance for him to spawn (with his buddy) with each murloc kill?

Its a very easy quest just kill one murloc in the camp then there is 2 coastrunners that run out of the water kill them.Then 2 other guys come out of the water then kill them.Then Murkdeep comes running out.

I cleared the murloc camp but realized I didnt wait long enough for the coastrunners to appear. Give it time and they show up. Then you just kill everything that comes out of the water till you see Murkdeep and his sidekick hunter.

its actully realy easy to do i noticed they come in waves first comes 3 coast runners which can be easily handled then runs 2 hunters or warriors either one kill them an comes murkdeep quest finished

Just wasted the entire camp 10 times and nothign happened. no runners came at me...nothing. Blizz says it is working as intended....i say blizz is working as intended, which means they arent doing jack squat

I killed the mobs around the camp 2x, no Murkdeep. Saw a coast runner in the water, killed him and it started the waves. Check the water for a lvl 13 or so murloc and see if it works for you.

Figured it out. You technically don't *need* to kill any murlocs to start the event, but it sure helps. All you need to do is walk into the middle of the huts - this causes three coastrunners to run out of the water, starting the event. Those of you who say they killed a few warriors and then Murkdeep came out is because someone tried and failed the event before you, leaving the second wave of murlocs in the camp.

So, summarized - it helps to pull all the murlocs out of the camp first, kill them, then walk in between the huts and start some ownage.

I soloed at 17 with my priest by aggroing one.. finding the exact spot they stopped chasing and then killing them one at a time at that line. Right when you finish one guy off step past the boundary they follow you to.

I love the way this quest was set up. You kill the guys at the camp, so 3 other guys want to see what happened and keep it defended, then when they die more guys come, bigger this time, and when they die murkdeep comes out.

To get Murkdeep to spawn you just have to slaughter the village.

When you actually look at it this is one of the most disturbing quests in the game. "Look we got this guy but he wont come out of hiding so just go slaughter his village to draw him out."

15 hunter solo'd it no problem well.. kinda tough but nothing to bad. Clear out the camp and then they run out of the water of course :P.

When I was there, Murkdeep was there, with 7 level 17 hunter with him, and all of them really close.
If you pull one, you pull them ALL....
I've tried several times with my hunter, but NO WAY.
If you pull one, they all come....

His spawn rate is really low. I've seen him only in the mornings.
