for hi level groups trying to farm this place id just like to say DONT unless every single group member is a blacksmith because all these guys drop is dark iron ore

Yesterday I went on a 20-man raid of Molten Core with guys level 60-70. We got to where there are several groups, each consisting of 4 core hounds. Everyone who is about to do MC for the first time know that core hounds are very difficult and the casters have to take them down all at once while the tanks take the aggro. Healers need to make sure that the warriors and feral druids stay alive, because if they tanks die, the raid will wipe almost immediately.

After engaging the hounds we found that they were ressurecting from the being dead. So we wiped a few times in trying to dps them down.
It was helpful to train them down the right side b/c of the imps and to watch Luciferon's patrol. I'm not sure yet as to how we can take down the hounds though.

Get your tactics straight before you engage these packs or you'll be fighting forever!

at least 4 groups makes this easier

grp 1 - X symbol
grp 2 - star
grp 3 - triangle
grp 4 - circle
- moon (should be handled by groups 1 - 4 once they get their hounds to around 20 percent)

no dots, no aoe until raid leader says go!

when all hounds at 10-15 percent burn em all down together, or theyll rez each other.

raid has to listen and pay attention for these to work.

Does anyone know the respawn limit on these? Ive noticed 10 mins, 15 mins, 18 mins, and 28 mins, whats the norm here?
