The Bug Trio, or Triumvarate, drop different loots depending on the LAST mob killed. The items unique to Vem are as follows:

Vem

Vem has a charge ability, and a basic melee attack. Does negligible damage to a tank but will hit for upwards of 2-3k on cloth. If he is the last one being killed, grouping up on him will speed up the killing process. If you take an extremely long amount of time to kill Vem (upwards of twenty minutes) he will hard enrage and wipe the raid.
Death Special: Enrages Yauj and Kri if they are still alive.

i like it!- now before anyone starts all the flames, i'd like to point out how blizz is finally putting SOME focus on feral druids, even though this is a great rogue indeed, i have heard tales of lore in AQ that a boss can only be tanked by a druid in bear, but, just rumors until we get it opened on my server : (, but grats to whoever got it!

ahh yes, finally some focus of shadow priests witht he whole +damage and healing with the new set and the reducing spell target resistances and all that good stuff

Moonkin is still neglected by Blizz, but the Gloves of Ebru are the new best Balance hand equip in the game. No feral or resto druid, and especially not a pally or shammy should take these if there's a moonkin in the raid. There simply is nothing better available.

this boss is optional, and it is the second one.
my guild manages to kill him, altough he's the hardest one for us.
does anyone have a working strategy for him?

When did I say give it to shamans? Elemental shamans have no place in PvE. Way to make a new account just for that though, I'm touched. In all honesty, I know a balance endgame druid. Every single raid she goes to, she has to heal. Every single one. Balance druids have no place in endgame, if we need moonfire spam for god knows why we'll just take one off healing for a bit.

Vem doesnt drop any elemental shaman gear cept for the amulet and balance druids do have a place in end game raids, they do have plus 3 to spell crit and if geared like a mage, they can do some good damage with starfire. Our mages are all tier 2 and our moonkin doubles as a healer/caster. Only problem with moonkins is they burn thru mana, but as you guys obviously havent gotten is that ALL druids can use innervate now, so you're going to see a lot more moonkins running around.

And yes, one AQ 40 boss must be tanked by a bear.

A balance druid is like a dps paladin...a waste, might as well bring a rogue w/ bandages.

I play a paladin and am ret/prot specced, I heal.

the trio is an interesting fight to say the least, leaving vem for last makes this the easiest fight

dj, i too was an unbeliever for a very long time.. but i have recently come to my senses. balance druids can be better dps than many casters, i have seen it firsthand. lackluster on the malfurion server is who showed me that to be true.
as for dps pally's....yeah they still aren't valid in my book, but i don't pick on them as much anymore. they are sensitive people.

im a feral druid and i make the top 10 in damage on our raids.
yeah thats right fools!

balance druids do more than just moonfire spam. imp starfire crits for more than 1200 and wrath for about 800. moonkin crit a ton and that supplemental dps is essential for big fights.

no.
u should wait untill u have ppl that know how to raid and know the fights. that goes for u guilds that have to pug bwl/mc/aq etc. if pug endgame ur a noob guild still and will probably disband quicker than u can read this post.

all u haters out there thinkin we druids cant dps obviously never gave one a chance let alone the gear to make them effective. im sick of this anti druid crap ppl constantly push because they think if u can heal thats all u should be doing. paladins can dps but at limited rates. pally dps is slow but generates aggro. thats why the wear PLATE! so pls stop being idiots and think things thru before u start trashing ur druid buddies.

Amen Nathrick! Moonkins are the most underestimated and unappreciated spec in the game...period! I am 58 and I out-dps every mage I come across within my lvl range. My armor exceeds most warriors, (6700AP with gear and buffs!) and I can heal damn good when needed. I dont get why ppl put down the moonkin, we are caster/healers with sick armor and 5% spell crit bonus for all caster/healers in group! If I am in your group, we will succeed! Proper use of barkskin/hurricane is rarely seen making moonkins seem useless for AOE. Barkskin eliminates spell interruption, so get up in the mix, use barkskin and immediately use hurricane. If you do it fast enough you can channel virtually the whole spell without interruption. Throw out the treants with this tactic and you can take out many enemies at once. Lets see a feral do that! MOONKINS FTW!

This fight is rather easy really. If you do it the easiest way you nuke down Kri first, since he causes most damage. After that you can easily deal with pricess with some effective fear-warding (if you are alliance that is :)And vem is basicly just an annoying small beetle that charges random people.

Experimenting with a few other methods showed that both Kri and Princess get much stronger after Vem is killed, so it does indeed get more difficult if you take him first.
Killing Princess last didn't cause so much trouble however since her heal is interruptable, its just about interrupting that, and having an offtank ready when she resets agro.

Loot wasn't much different from her than from Vem tho, pretty much all crap :P

Tryed Vem->Princess->Lord Kri. After we killed vem and princess, Lord Kri get a buff +150% attack speed and +100% dmg. Killed the whole raid in 0'..sec.

Easiest: Lord Kri, Princess Yauj and then Vem.
Hardest: Vem, Princess Yauj and then Lord Kri.

The way the fight is setup, the hardest way of killing the trio should yield the best loot. It's been reported that this is broke, and you get the same kind of loot regarding the killing order.

Princess>Kri>Vem. Vem is the one that drops the lewt, simple as that.

Optional Boss in AQ very difficult fight he is with Lord Kri and Princes Yauj you have to fight them all at the same time very similar to the Tiger boss in ZG

Just killed him on aegwynn with the easy setup after 8 tries.
We are not a hundred % sure, but it semms, that if all 3 are tanked apart from each other, they dont use their abilities that much, but still they use them (fear, aoe poison, and whatever the third one did) neither are we absolutely certain, if vem or the princess does the ae fear, it seems that it is the princess. kir does a lot of damage, so he has to be the first to be killed, vem alone and last was pretty easy only his kick is a bit of a pain in the ass.
as a slow mob killing guild, i must say that having our own tactic development (usually there are guides ^^)i was very pleased ith the outcome, of how we managed to win this fight.
not to mention the repcosts of 80 G for me as a deftank :/
for everyone else: the boss is resettable, meaning, that if you run out of the cave, they reset.
Another not so brilliant idea is to run back into the instance after being dead, because they have random targets, so if someone ís in the beginning of the instance, they reset as well
