This guy likely has the approximate 97,000 health that the other possible Hex Lord adds have, and not the 11,000 listed. A 3K fireball only took him from 100% to 98% health.

Cold stare is a curse and lasts for about 10-15 seconds, or until a spell or ability is used, whichever comes first. As it's a curse, I believe mages and druids can remove it, and paladins can divine shield out of it. I don't know why wowhead lists it's "cold stare" as a shadow spell, when the tooltip says it does frost damage.

I finally got a screenshot of cold stare! In the screenshot I have, I have cold stare and it is stacked 8 times on me. I guess this means it can jump about 8 times. The tooltip says "Deals 1,414 to 1,586 frost damage if spell or ability is used. Jumps to nearby Raid Member." If Malacrass is currently a mage, I wouldn't be surprised if malacrass's "frost nova" increases the damage done by cold stare, as his "frost nova" increases frost damage done to whoever has the debuff by 50%.

Cold stare seems to jump to other people, sort of like how chain lightning can hit more than one target. I have seen it "jump" to seven other people in the entire raid in less than 3 seconds. I have also seen it jump from myself to someone else, back to me, then to someone else, then to the main tank, then back to me. If the tank moves koragg so it's back is facing the entire raid, and no one else besides said tank is in front of koragg, then it seems like it will not jump to other people in the raid. However, it could be nothing more than random chance or speculation on my part.

if you have a shadowpriest, or a holy priest that is confident he can keep up the shackle, this add is a good candidate to keep cc'ed the entire fight
