I've found that the best way to gather this herb is just to fly around the edges of multiple zones, rather than circling around one particular zone.

The best way for me to farm them is to go to skettis and look for the giant forest rangers if you kill them you may use your Herb skill on them to loot many differant herbs and you get around 4 of them every time also get alot of primal lifes this way.

Personally I love these things because they give you a buff when you pick them. Restores 30 health every 5 seconds for 15 minutes. These are generally found in mountainous ranges. The restorative properties on these are pretty nice. Makes Elixir of Healing Power.
