Fun fact:
Krasus is the name of one of the main characters from the Warcraft Books, in particular "Day of the Dragon", and the "War of the Ancients Trilogy."

He's a dragon mage who is one of the leads of the Kirin Tor.

I use Cartographer to get the fractional coordinates. It really helps in this area, as stuff is so close together.

Also while in this area, watch out for these mobs, each of them drops an item that starts a simple quest. Great exp if you do all 4!

Do not skip this quest. Not only is it easy experience, but at the quest location there are four more quests, aswell as four quests from dropped items (from named mobs: Conjurer Luminrath, Cohlien Frostweaver, Battle-Mage Dathric and Abjurist Belmara).

You can actually do this Q without doing the prequests. Some dude in Shattrath summoned this guy and I accidentally accepted this Q and completed it without any buggs/glitches.

It is easy solo 1 mob in each room but be carefull more are coming from patrols a frost resistance in this quest would be nice

They are in the 1 room houses at the coords mentioned above. They are golden glowing scrolls, and they are easy to miss.

EZ-mode as a Deep 70Fire Mage:

-Stand at 41 yards range, pop Combustion and start casting a Pyroblast.
-Then pop a Spelldmg trinket and quickly cast your fireball, since Scorch still is not in range.
-Now simply blast him with scorches, and other "quick casting" spells including instants.

The clue is to side step away from him when he is 50% away from casting a frostbolt while still in the building, so that his spell gets interrupted because he can't see his target:) When he gets out, simply avoid his DoT-Spots and nuke him down.

Finished with about 70%HP and 60% Mana.

I remember when I first seen this guy.. I was in Warsong Gulch, and the Alliance came in with our flag to return it, I grabbed the flag, looked up a bit, and he was standing right where the Alliance flag lays. Is this odd, or is it normal to see him in random places?

While you are at it, you can also kill belmara, cohlien and dathric. belmara and cohlien walk around those roads and dathric is inside the big house. they drop a "start quest" item

Alright, guys. I couldn't get all the coords above to match either. Not exactly, that is. I'm using Titan Panel's coordinates. It would seem that there are small anomilies in people's coordinates, so I've done an aerial shot instead:

This is the town centre from above, FACING EAST (North is on your left :-). The three houses you need are circled in green.

All the quests in Kirin'Var village SUCK. The mobs are STILL bugged since release and you'll be attacked by invisible mobs that you can't fight back. Be prepared to run almost all the way to Sunfury Hold to drop the aggro. Also, the mobs have HUGE wandering paths. This area is totally not worth the frustration. Save it for when you have nothing better to do.

It appears as though the chapters can move between several of the houses. After trying to follow posted coords I just cleared all of the small houses until I found all three Chapters.

Reclaim Krasus's Compendium - Chapter 1, Krasus's Compendium - Chapter 2, and Krasus's Compendium - Chapter 3 from Kirin'Var Village's Town Square. Use Archmage Vargoth's Staff to contact the archmage once you have the chapters.

If you lose Archmage Vargoth's Staff, speak to Ravandwyr at Area 52 to receive a replacement.

Descrizione

The Kirin Tor sent one other of Krasus's possessions with our expedition. It was his spellbook, called Krasus's Compendium. Containing all the spells he mastered, it lent us a much-needed advantage in the war.

Before Kael'thas and his forces laid siege to Kirin'Var, the compendium had been stolen from me by a rebellious apprentice intent on studying necromancy. The apprentice and his followers divided and studied the text in secret, locking themselves inside their houses in the southern part of town.
