Yes previous posted is correct. The very poor droprate was left out though. it was a <10% drop for me, not like the 25% it shows on here. GL

Be aware that once you have the crystal in your inventory, you then have to click on it in proximity to one of the blood crystal shards which hover in the air. Charging it is channeled, and takes about 3 or 4 seconds, so don't aggro anything in this time

may not be correct but attack the ones that absorbing the crystal, worked twice. tell me if im wrong but attack them while they are sucking the crystal, doesnt happen often though.

I was doing this and the High Value Targets quest and I kept going into the main entrance and to the left I killed 10-15 magistry's and nothing dropped, I made my way inside finished high value targets came outside and the first magistry dropped it. Dont know if that means anything but it was also the first one on the East side of the main road I kept going to the West

Gives a minute long buff which increases spell damage. As you are doing other quests at the camp, the magisters have a chance of dropping these crystals again allowing you to keep getting the buff even after you complete this quest.

no no idea how to do this i kill like 40 of each absorbing and just standing there.. unless its a terrible drop rate i think I'm doing something wrong..

You need to complete the quest "Manaforge B'naar" ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10189 ) before she gives you any quests.

Coords correct. Watch out for the Arcane Annihilator, which I died once to (Could've won if it weren't for the fact that they're immune to life draining effects)

Point of interest: the glowing magisters (The ones already siphoning the crystal) apparently have a MUCH higher droprate (Possibly 100%, but I have not yet tested this theory fully). I killed 2 magisters already siphoning a crystal, and both dropped one.

So...kill the glowing ones.

I ground on the mobs for about an hour and a half before I read I need to abandon the quest and take it again.

After that, crystal dropped after the second mob.

MY experience with the drop rate was horrible. Ground on the magisters for approx. an hour without getting the shard. I targetted the ones with the buff (glowing magisters) and the ones without, and obviously had no better luck on either. In the mean-time, I DID pick up 3 Arcane Tomes...

The Sunfury Magisters are reported to have the following drop rates:
Bloodgem Shard - 19%
Arcane Tome - 1.8%

These are probably correct numbers, but tonight the Random Number Generator gave me BAD "rolls"...

Bloodgem Crystals

Magistrix Larynna wants you to go to Manaforge B'naar and obtain a Bloodgem Shard from a Sunfury Magister. Use this shard near the larger Bloodgem crystals and return to her at Area 52.

Completing quests for the Scryers will cause your Aldor reputation level to decrease.

	Siphon Bloodgem Crystal (1)

Descrizione

Kael's magisters have refined their usage of mana crystals to the point where they can siphon large amounts of energy in a matter of seconds.

They do this by attuning smaller bloodgem crystal shards to larger, fully charged ones.

Go to Manaforge B'naar and obtain one of these shards from a Sunfury magister and use it to siphon energy from one of the larger crystals.

Return to me so that I may study the effects of the aura. Do not worry; any side effects should be temporary.
