The Arcane Annihilator hit for 600-750 on a 69 rogue. Combat Sword spec in high end gear and I had to pull some fancy stuff (run and Deadly Throw kite for a bit while Kidney Shot cooled down). Used all my cooldowns. Lived with ~15% life. Also I had -50 agility debuff from Netherbloom.

Immune to Gouge, Blind.

Solo'd by a 70 fury Warrior, just pummel when you see him casting, and use commanding shout before the end of the fight, ended up with about 500 Hp left.

70 Hunter, and this was the easiest kite I've ever done. Immune to distract/stings... just keep cheeta on, toss a concussion every so often, and steady shot when it stops to spam it's arcane explosion.

The mob does slow laps around Manaforge B'nar. Seen it going both clockwise and counter-clockwise, so your best bet is just to mount up and fly around till you spot it. Can be tracked with Track Elementals.

27, 74. Solo as 70 shadowpriest. He is immune to fear and casts some form of mana drain silence, like blood elfs racial. Shadowfiend helps with mana and there were no problems with health with shield and vampiric healing

Solo'd by a 68 Affliction 'lock.

You can not Drain life from these guys, otherwise you could probably draintank the to death.

This guy is a bit slow so I cleared out the area around him, and CoExaution kited him back and fourth, the cast times on his silence and arcane explosion make them avoidable by getting out of range. Most of my damage was done with Corrupt, Immo, and UnstableAff. He doesn't hit too hard, so you can get beat up a bit and still survive.

This guy was cake as a 70 holy paladin. Didn't even have to use any cooldowns. Just make sure you keep your health up since he has a silence (although it does have a cast time and can be interrupted with your stun.)

Easily soloable by anyone who can kite. Just bring him to Area 52 and his Arcane Explosion will aggro the guards and they'll take care of him easily. Just make sure you do at least 50% of the damage before you do that.

The fury warriors can solo it, the protection warriors can solo it, and the arms warriors can solo it too!

Keep thunderclap and demoshout on him and he hits for nothing. Pummel when he casts the arcane explosion and ignore the silence debuff cast. Otherwise spam MS. Ended with 2.5k health left after using a pot. No need for commanding shout spam.

Add a 68 feral druid to the list of classes able to solo him. Open up in cat to get some extra damage for good measure (pounce-combo points-finisher before he attacks), then just go bear and duke it out. Run away when he starts casting, as both his casts are close-range only. He is stunable and rootable, so use Bash and/or Nature's Grasp to heal (though I only had to heal once before I got him down).

Very easy to solo as rcane fir mage.. dampen magic ftw... i did trinket & arcane power pyroblast..then presence of mind pyroblast. by this time i had done 11k dmg. Nova fire blast and a blast wave to finish. Job Done

Solo'ed quite easily as 70 sword Rogue. Open with Cheap Shot and pop Adrenaline Rush immediately. You will have 5 combo points at about the time he comes out of stun. Hit kidney shot and he's stunned for another 6 seconds. Hit vanish when he wakes up and immediately Cheap Shot him again. When he becomes unstunned again he should be well under 50% life. Hit Evasion and burn him down while kick-interrupting the Arcane Explosion. Still had 75% life at end.

Just be careful to take out the other pat mobs before you engage him as you don't want adds.

Very easy, just clear out the area around him first.

As a 68 BM hunter I didn't need to kite, just kept Mend Pet up most of the time, used intimidation to build up some threat for my pet, and steady shotted him to death.

NOT soloable as a 70 Shadowstep rogue. Couldn't do it. I was specced 20/0/41, decent gear and couldnt do it for the life of me. Came back later, after respeccing to combat maces and he was easy.

Save your kick for his Supression, and just back away from him when he casts Arcane Explosion.

Easily soloed 69 full frost mage, he is not immune to frostbite nor frost nova. Elemental didn't even die. Just root it and stay away from it, didn't even get hit.

Soloed as a green-geared 68 mutilate/envenom rogue (41/18/0). Had to use a potion though, but very doable. He is immune to poisons btw, so couldn't use my envenom.

Very easy elite quest, soloed it as druid...
I did a very easy tactic:
I attacked it in stealth, and then did pounce, and did all the dmg i could.... then when it got out of stun, i did main... and then i shapped to bear form... when it jumped out of main, i attacked it... Then i did the -atk power, so i wont loose alot of hp, and then i just mauled n mangled it to death.... very easy, and this is grp quest? noway (:

Soloed without a problem with elemental shaman, no need to use your earth elemental. Easily soloed by any ranged damagers really.
Just find a route (or circle) where you can kite the robot, throw a few lightning bolts, when he's near use frost shock and start running. Then just repeat lightning bolts + frost shocks combos, you can eventually put down earthbind totem on your way to slower him up more.
Not only he moves quite slowly, but he's also frequently stop to cast some aoe spells, which won't hurt you since you're ahead of him, use this time to throw some more lightning bolts :) He has only 20k hp or so, you shouldn't have problems with mana.

Really easy to solo as 67 hunter. used frost trap when pet at low health, bandaged it to full hp and finished the mob.
He is cc'able, so u can slow him, get in distance and bandage if u're melee i guess..

if you are a frost mage, ICE LANCE IS YOUR FRIEND! I just had my elemental freeze him and i froze him (by switching off) then i just used ice lance, because it does as much damage as frostbolt when someone is frozen, so i only used a quarter of my mana and none of my health, then i killed a 65 gnome rogue

This guy can be a little more difficult than usual for an affliction warlock to solo. I have had good luck with starting with a voidwalker to tank - he isn't able to hold aggro that well, and since the Annihilator hits pretty hard, the voidwalker won't last long. Right before he dies, pop his shield and shadowbolt the Arcane Annihilator down.

Found it patrolling Manaforge B'naar.

As a holy pally, its very easy and simple:

- Put a Jugdement of Crusader
- Consecration
- Holy Shock
- Judgement of Righteous
- Hammer of Justice

While waiting for cooldowns, heal you up.

Do it until mob is dead.

One potion could help you to heal yourself while silenced.

Btw, do the quest with "Distraction at Manaforge B'naar".

Just a tip, as a prot pally I was able to pull him all the way to Area 52 and let the guards there kill him.
I was about so solo him but kept getting adds on me so it happened accidentaly. So if you're having trouble just lead him to 52.

wow really, piece of cake with a 70 lock:

Pulled with amplify curse, CoD, sent VW, did some destruction till CoD timer is 35-40 seconds, then banished...didn't even bothered bandaging or anything...prepared a trinket soul fire timed on the banish, then conflag'ed it's way to robot hell!

What a beautiful day to kite a mob. Things that work; Ice trap, concussion shot, wing clip, Arcane shot, Aimed shot, multi shot (didn't try steady shot but I would assume that it would work also). Immune to stings and scatter shot. There is one that patrols the road between 22 74 and 21 71 (he actually keeps going around to the camp but you risk getting adds beyond that) There is a nice open field to the west of the road so you can kite him around that field. There is an AoE attack that comes from him but as long as you stay out in range attack your fine. I primarily just wing clipped and concussion shot firing when I was in range distance and just ran a big circle. I did right at the end lay an ice trap so that I could heal my pet but a buffed aim shot took him out so it really wasn't necessary*. ( *your mileage may vary)

The straightforward approach is an infernal, just toss an occasional corruption and curse of weakness, while health funnel keeps the infernal alive. Then send the infernal off to attack multiple mobs and run away (so that it goes down before it turns on you). Works like clockwork.

I found him at 20 69.

I could solo him as lvl 67 combat rogue (with green/blue items)using all CDs, HP potion and bandaging.

Tho he hit for 600 and may crit for 1100.

I soloed this as a 69 druid. Feral specced. I rooted him, then starfired. If he came unrooted, I just re-rooted him, and continued starfiring until I was low on mana. Rooted him one last time, popped my innervate, and switched to bear form. I popped the innervate just in case I had to pop out and heal. However, this was not necessary, as I was able to pound him down the rest of the way without even having to use my frenzied regeneration. druids ftw!

I did this solo as a 68 Troll Hunter. There is a open area to the far east. I just kite him in a circle with Aspect of the Cheetah on. He will pause once and a while to cast a spell so you will have time to run away. I just ran in a circle because there was mobs near by. I also did not have any mana or health pots with me so this is should be doable solo if you have pots. My pet died due to the arcane explosions but i had plenty of health. Hope this helps.

Wow, I expected a much harder fight, he was easily soloable. I found him at 21,73 on the road.

I'm a lvl 70 CB/Prep/Hemo rogue. I popped evasion right off the bat, but probably didn't even need to. He took about 3k health off of my 9 k, and that's just because I let auto attack do most of the work. All of his casts are interruptible with kick and KS, probably blind also.

By compliting quest, i got +75 rep with Aldor and -83rep with Scryers. Strange amount of rep that 83, though this q was the grand top quest by amount of killing mobs, heh, I had no idea at first what to do or where to go, so i was just killing
those bloodelves trying to figure out wth should i do. Got over 150k just by killing them.

I soloed him with a lvl 68 BM Hunter. Its easy to kill him, it succed 1dt try :D I attack him with "Arcane shot" and "Steady shot", and poison him with serpent sting. A heal my pet and use "feign Death" if he want to attack me. Its easy to do it but beware from the earthquake, what is he doing. Stand far away from him and just shoot him :)

Did this solo as a hunter - there's a patch of empty ground just to the south of Manaforge B'naar, I just killed a mobs or two to clear the path there then brought the arcane golem over and kited in circles with aspect of the cheetah and conc shot. Stuck pet on him without growl at 70% or so for extra damage as he chased around after me - immune to stings and frost/freezing traps.

Super easy mode as a 70 shadow priest. I kited him for about 30 seconds with vamp touch and sw:p, put shadow fiend on him.. and just blasted him to death. he got me to 80% health before he died.

These dudes can be a pain in the ass to find and it is wise to bring a friend.

Just rome form camp to camp just out side the building and you will come across an elite dude,

this dude is a machine type thing.. kill him and you get your quest item

i killed mines at 22,75

if you dont have cords, that is the most south west camp. he was walking along the path.
