Something slightly different from what's already been said about the quest; the chestpiece appears (and correct me if I'm wrong) to be one of the best easily obtainable hunter chestpieces. By easily obtainable I mean non-PvP and not crafted with ridiculous mats. Again, correct me if I'm wrong.

Just very small as they have said. Once you know what you are looking for it's easier to place the other two. Good Luck- took me a while even with coords...

I got stuck behind the marker as well when I put it up.
Just wait for a little while (roughly a minute) and then it will disappear.

The clue is in the description - you're looking for the purple Draenei banners, which are exactly what they sound like - a piece of cloth on a stake (there are plenty of "purple circles" around, especially when viewed from a flying mount!). I don't know about anyone else, or if they move around, but today, with me standing on them, they were at: #1 - 51.7,20.6; #2 - 54.5,22.8; and #3 - 55.8,19.9. These posts are right about one thing, though - a mouse over doesn't show a thing. There are lots of mobs around - hounds and eyes - but couple this with "Minions of Culuthas" and you won't mind; you'll finish both. Better yet, throw in "Full Triangle" and you can score a perfect hat trick! (Be careful on the last one though - soloing Culuthas isn't easy, make sure you're healed and buffed up; a healing pot won't hurt, either!)

The co-ords listed are pathetic, 51,20 - none there, 55,20 - is in the middle of the air. 54,22 worked though.

Your best bet is to get close to the coords below and look for the small, glowing purple circle. It won't react when you mouse over it.

Be careful when you're placing the quest items - they can trap you against buildings o.O

Yeah, it's annoying having to hearth just to escape >_>

I have to get over to the Ruins of Farahlon to start my excavations! The problem is that the place has been infested by demons!

Maybe you could do some preliminary work for me?

There are three locations within the ruins to the northeast where I want you to place surveying markers. Each is near a draenei banner.

Return to me when you've managed to place all three markers.
