After the chain quests in Ruin's of Sha'naar, you will recieve a Staff of the Dreghood Elders.

Use the staff on Arzeth the Merciless will be make him a non-elite and easilable killable, then return to Naladu.

Respawn rate on Arzeth is about 4 minutes, in front of the hut up the stairs where you got the key for the previous quest.

Make sure you clear the area where your going to kill Arzeth, even tho he is no longer elite, he still can be strong.

Ahye, Warlocks have Shadow Protection, easy. I solod him as elite with level 62.

Confirmed! He's not that tough once hit with the staff (Keep in mind there's a bit of channelling involved, so stand at max range before hitting him with it) - easily soloed as a 61 shadow priest.

this is an easy quest line, you just run around a little, and then kill a 63 non elite, definitely worth it, took me about 10 minutes

Did this quest chain with my 63 paladin without a problem. Once weakened with the staff he drops after a few holy shocks and exorcisms. Great quest chain for good xp, and got a nice random drop or two in the process.

For me 13, 58 was off a bit, it was 14, 57 where I was standing when he spawned. I mention it only because he is so easy to kill that if you aren't exactly where he is when he pops someone else will tag and kill him instantly. Just make sure you are standing at the top of the stairs and he will spawn right on top of you.

Don´t get scared that he is a Elite.. He was easy when I used "Staff of the Dreghood"..

Aggro Arzeth and click the staff (while targetting the mob). That turns Arzeth into an ordinary level 63. The mob shrinks in size.

Arzeth dropped about 27 silver and some netherweave cloth.

Not difficult at all. Just use the staff on him and burn him down. Soloed as a 61 rogue.

To complete this quest you need to use the Staff of the Dreghood Elders on Arzeth the Merciless and slay him after he's lost his powers.

This quest is quite easy to complete, head back to the big stone stairs and check out if Arzeth the Merciless is at the top of stairs. If he is not wait him to get back or respawn.
Use Staff of the Dreghood Elders on him so he losts his power and turns into Arzeth the Powerless. He isnt an elite anymore and should be get rid of with ease.

Seems to be a bug where after you use the staff, he doesn't turn into Arzeth the Powerless until after you hit him. So if you've used the staff and are wondering why he's still Elite, just start attacking and he'll turn into a normal mob.
