It isn't necessary to zap the flowers immediately to mutate them, so you can save yourself the trouble of dealing with the enrage by just zapping them with the Energy Field Modulator when they're near death.

The little guardians that are spawned can't move. So just move away from them and you don't have to kill them.

Be carefull with the zapper. It zaps not only your target but all the flowers within its range. So if you have more then one flower nearby you are going to get ganked and they hit fast. Learned it the hard way :-/

lol this is so easy, once it's dead just use shadowfury to 1 shot the little flowers

this mobs are relative hard for an enchantment-shaman, the entangling root/minion-summon is not a good thing.. gets you stuck around thren mobs that hits fast...the minions are imune to my stoneclaw totem wich makes this a werry anoying quest..same goes for all meele...

They're not too bad. Here's the trick: start attacking first... when it spawns the little flowers, _step back_. then maybe use the zapper. then if it spawns more... step back a little more. the little ones can't move.

Enoying quest, but since people have written all about the duration and that they can't move, there is no need to post any more comments. Fun if you get what to do though.

Really easy quest. I attacked the flowers and used the Zapper at around 20% just to make sure I don't kill it too early. My Whirlwinds were able to 1 shot the summoned ones. Also, the summoning spell is interruptible but has a short casting time.

The little flowers have extremely low hit points. As a shadow priest you can use SW:Death on one of them to one-shot it, although even that is unnecessary; Mind Flay kills them on the first couple of "ticks." I found it easier just to kill the mutated flower first before concerning myself with the babies. The tip on zapping them when they're near death is extremely useful.

this was easy ...68 hunter... go right beside the elevator.... get hate on pet, use modulator, when adds spawn, hit once with multishot and they are gone

Right hints! Just move away from the small plants, continue hitting the Lasher until it's 10% of health, use the quest item and execute! Easy one.. about 10 min & done (Warrior 68)

Around 42-32 all around, sugest you do this with the Diagnosis: Critical Quest

Easy quest, just pound them down til' they're on 10-20% then use the quest item and Shadowburn/Execute/etc.

At some point when you're killing the plant it will summon small plants. These are unable to move, so all you have to do is move a little away. The big plant will follow but the small plants will be unable to attack you.

Might I advise to start hitting the neutral flower, and when it goes down to 30% or so, use the Modulator, this way you will still complete the quest, but it won't spawn 2 adds.

Nevermind, seemed to be some lucky crits and just went down too fast.

THis was easy, not surew what these guardians do...\
ALl I would do is target the mob, use it, adn when the 2 extra flowers spawned I would just move a few inchs :/

Just look around you, <class>! Isn't it amazing? Of course, this incredible resurgence of life is a byproduct of the ethereal domes, but imagine what it could do in the hands of the expedition.

I'm preparing to negotiate with the ethereals for access to their technology, but I'd like to get a better idea of its effects on plant-based life.

I've built a device to concentrate the dome's energies on the lashers in this area. Would you be so kind as to test it for me and share the results?
