The Cipher of Damnation is an extremely long quest line in Shadowmoon Valley. It is a prerequisite for attunement to The Eye in Tempest Keep and Mount Hyjal in Caverns of time.

At this point, the quests diverge into three separate lines (which can be done in any order) for each of Oronok's three sons who will in turn help you obtain the three Fragments of Damnation.

After completing the quest, you will get a message in the mail from Khadgar. If you go to Shattrath, he will tell you to talk to A'Dal, who unlocks the the three Trials. These are prerequisites for attunement to The Eye in Tempest Keep and Mount Hyjal in Caverns of time.

Its pretty easy quest.

First fly your flying reindeer to 46,23 then fly over the lava river to kill the rest (48,22)
Easy quest and you will get a few motes of mana while doing it (if you are lucky ^^)

Im an 69 Frost mage. Not hard to solo but quite anyoing since the water elemental's are immune to ALL Frost spells. I recommend u put your shield up and start spam Arcane Blast and Scorch. Use Arcane Missiles if you're specc'd as it. Or else its not worth all the mana and the interruption of the missiles. As i said, Its not hard, just anyoing.

(51, 26) i found a lot more. There is a lake there and you don't have to wait for any respawns. Also easier to pull one-by-one.

Actually the best place i found was at 49, 22 with the corruptor guy, at least 8-10 at all times

alright I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get this to work. I did the fire and earth spirits not problem. Now with the watery ones I can't get anything to count. I killed an enraged water spirit, it entered the totem, but nothing counted. I dropped the quest and got it again and that didn't help. I destroyed a corrupt water totem and killed the guys that came out of that right next to my totem and still nothing. Even quest helper tells me I'm in the right spot. So.....wtf? Happen to anyone else?

there's a body of water that runs from 49,21 - 51,26, just east of coilskar point past the lava river is great spot for this.

45, 28 and 49, 27 are BAD coords. only 2 at one spot and none at the other.

I went to 46,23 and killed 2 there, then I headed west across the bridge to 50,25 and killed the rest there. Ther is about 5 or 6 at 50,25 so might as well just go there.

That q is easy with a hunter. Just go to Coilskaar point, and put on track elementals and u can find enough water spirits

Earthmender Torlok at the Altar of Damnation in Shadowmoon Valley wants you to use the Totem of Spirits to capture 5 Watery Souls.

Descrizione

The Illidari naga of the region have taken control of the only clean water supply that exists in Shadowmoon Valley.

Directly north of here you will find the lair of the naga: Coilskar. Around Coilskar are pockets of agitated water that howl to the land in anguish. It is at those pockets that the enraged spirits of water now wander.

Travel to Coilskar and use the totem of spirits to capture watery souls. You will find the largest concentration of these spirits near Coilskar Cistern.
