I can't seem to talk to him. I can fly up to him and see the yellow "?" for a quest turn-in but he doesn't react to being right clicked. Any ideas?

How to get Neutral with Netherdrake (Netherdrake Epic Mount Quest Starter)

1. Kindness
- Kill 8 Rocknail Flayers, Use Carcasses to Feed 8 Dragons (don't move!). Also make sure to travel a bit when laying the meat, as the same drakes won't eat twice in a row.

2. Seek Out Neltharaku
- Fly on your mount and find Neltharaku, he patrols slowly around Dragonmaw about a few hundred feet up. You'll have to be about 5 yards UNDER him to talk to him.

- Listen to story.

4. Infiltrating Dragonmaw Fortress
- Kill 15 of any type of orcs in the fortress.

5.To Netherwing Ledge!
- Find 12 Crystals from the floating island SE of the mainland.

6. The Force of Neltharaku
- Free 5 Dragons by using the item on them, then killing the orcs they agro.

7. Karynaku
- Find Karynaku, she's the second story of the fortress.

8. Zuluhed the Whacked
- Kill Zuluhed and recover the key. I recommend pulling him inside so as to avoid the archers, and kill him BEFORE he summons his add. Use the key he drops to free Karynaku.

9. Ally of the Netherwing
- Return to Mordenai, you will immediately gain 42,000 rep and become neutral.

10. ????
- Blizzard has announced that next patch they will be introducing a continuence of this quest line, including the ability to get exalted and purchase or receive through extensive questing an EPIC netherdrake mount. You will need epic training to use it however, so save your gold!

Just look for the gold dot on the minimap. He should be nearby. You need a flying mount as he is in the air.

You can NOT talk to him while shapeshifted in flight form. So for us druid, we will need to actually buy a flighting mount. *cheer* I guess that still puts us a little ahead since we didn't have to pay for training. :p

Go to Interface Options and make sure you have NPC names on "show". He is the only dragon with a yellow name (the others will be red), so it will be easy to find him among the others. Also, he moves slower (kind of flitting along majestically, I suppose).

Right now the GMs say they are aware of the issue that it's extremely difficult to talk to Neltharaku and their developers are working on it, etc.

If you're having a hard time trying to get him to actually talk to you (after tons of fruitless right-clicking), go to Interface Options and check "Click To Move", which will let you right-click on Neltharaku and your character will move by itself to the exact spot needed to talk to him.

i dont know for you gus but i have a very hard time each time i finish a q part and need to find him.when u find him for first time mark sth so u can find him easy gd luck:-)

i didnt have any problems getting to talk to him , he patrols between the sanctum to the fortress.

ITS soooo easy to talk to him. heres the deal. fly like 20-30 feet under him. and hold spacebar while flying up keep rightclicking to talk to him as fast as u can and it will work. than after that u can just talk to him normally for the next quest.

ok i've been following him around for about half an hour now and he has'nt landed,i still can't talk to him while underneath him when he's flying. still have'nt seen him stop. does anybody have anymore more details about this quest?like where he stops,where he lands, anything at all?

Ya if you are having trouble talking to him try talking to him from below. I had to be pretty far below him in order to talk to him.

The easiest way I found is to use click to move. Go to interface options, look at the top under "controls," and select "click-to-move." Then get close to him and right click, you'll go right to the spot you need to be.

Next quest in this series is:
Neltharaku's Tale

To talk to him, just fly a bit below him with your cursor pointing at him, it will turn white
and then you can talk to him, once you talk to him he will hover in the air at that place for a while.

This quest is working perfectly fine now, he patrols about 50 feet above the rest of the drakes in Netherwing Fields

Can not talk to Neltharaku, Faq suggests opening your interface menu, turn on click-to-move, back to game, fly near him, target and then right click him.

I was then able to talk to him, it auto moved me to correct position.

quest currently bugged, talked to gm and he said they r aware issue and on it.

If you don't feel like the hassle of flying up and down to get to the right elevation, use click-to-move. If you don't mind it and would rather not fuss with your Interface Options, just go up and down under him until your dialogue button turns white/gold/whatever color it turns other than the 'no go' grey.

If you cannot talk to him I have confirmed that using click to move works. However, it takes a few tries, your best bet is to fly in front of him a good distance, climb a bit above, target him then right click, if you do it right the quest box should pop up.

Just buy flying mount,point and right click under his belly. The first 3 quest is easy but the next one to save his mate needs 5 players. U gonna be stuck with out 4 other loser to help you out.
