This gas mask only has a duration of 60 minutes in your backpack. It's recommended you run your butt off to use this item, or chance not having it in your pack when you decide to do it.

To get another mask, talk to Wildlord Antelarion (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=22127).

Furthermore, you must have the mask on to be able to interact with the communicator. It's between 2 green floating pylons to the left of the entrance (if you're facing it from the outside).

You don't need coordinates for this one. As soon as you walk past the front guards there are two green floating crystals to the left. Its in between them.

If you cant 'Open" the communicatore you might need to un-equipt and re equipt the gas mask.

I equipped it while on my mount and did not recieve the buff. When I unequipped it to re-equip it, the mask disappeared, and it still had 40 minutes left on it. Be careful!

i got that problem cannot click on the communicator too, no buff. coz im wearing the head from evergrove.. you have to un equip and equip it again in Forge Camp: Anger

The Legion communicator is located just to the left after entering the camp past the Anger guards.

The mask has a 60 minute duration, so remember to go ask the NPC for another one unless you do the quest shortly after you first get it.

Well actually as a hunter and/or mage it would be pretty easy quest to make. Just (as hunter) run in to it with ur pet dismissed and feign death then make a frost trap on the attender standing close to it. As mage run in and use frost nova to stun them complete quest and take the new one.

I got the mask but did not use it right away because I did not realize there was a time constraint. I still had it when I started, but by the time I finished the quest it was gone. I cannot talk with the Legion Communicator and because I finished the quest (I guess) Wildlord Antelarion will not talk to me either. How can I get another mask and turn this quest in?

Is this bugged? I went back to the quest giver to get a new mask and it vanished again before I even got to the camp. Only 3 mins later.

if you're standing in front of Forge Camp: Anger, there's a communicator that's in the middle of two green crystals on the left side as you go up the ramp. just make sure you have your mask on when you click on it... 73,30, i believe

Dunno if anyone else has had this problem, but if your gas mask vanished for whatever reason (I think mine did after the patch, then Antelarion will give you another one. No need to abandon quest or anything.

Don't waste your time on this quest. If you do happen to do this horrid quest, DON'T take the mask off after you get the quest to kill 8 mobs in the area. I took it off to put my dps helm back on and when I went back to turn the quest in, I couldn't re-equip the mask, which in turn meant that I couldn't turn the quest in. Relogged several times, tried many different options of equipping the piece, but the POS would not equip. /rasp Blizzard QA

If I stand hard next to the comunicator the exact coords are 73.3 - 40.0.

As of patch 2.3 it will have a "?" over it (when you have the mask on).

The rest of the camp comes into play for the following quest given after useing the communcator.

69 shadow priest. Can be tough getting the mobs for the prequest as they were farmed. Doomcryer is vulnerable to fear, stun and slowing which made this fight very easy. Damaage was quite alot but I never went below 80%.

Quest rewards are very poor for a caster really although 8g is nice.

Attempted this 3 times; no matter what I did with the mask, the communicator was usable.

Wait until you are RIGHT next to it to equip the mask, thats the only way I got this quest to work. Paged a GM and had to figure that out..

Just soloed this as a 67 druid. Doomcaller was interesting, but thankfully not immune to bash/maim. Start out in cat, put up some points and maim. Heal, go to bear, mangle her down and bash when needed. I took a pot, but it didn't heal enough so I popped rejuv/lifebloom then went back to bear. Had to Bash/Regrowth once more when the cooldown on bash was up, then a mangle crit finished her off. Be sure to move around quite a bit, as that poison thing she does hurts quite a bit. I pulled her entirely outside the camp and got lucky with no adds. Good luck.

This isnt hard. Coordinates are listed below. Put the mask on in front of the communicator. If you don't do this quest within 1 hour of recieving the quest item it will dissapear. You have to drop the quest and then accept it again to get a new mask.

Too bad the quest is impossible to solo. Hunters and locks will own this. Everyone else should just drop it, quest rewards are not worth the aggravation.

I cleared the whole camp before I read the comments here, and still couldn't use the communicator. I re-equipped the Mask and then I could... turns out that when I equipped it the first time I was mounted and wasn't affected by "Felsworn Gas Mask". So before you enter the camp, check you have this cast on you!

coords are good 73/40 but you need from questgiver "gas mask" - it have just 60 minuts duration - if you cant complete, leave quest and take once more from questgiver.

Loged out and in again and when i loged in i had a debuff i didnt have when i equiped the mask the first time.

So try log out and in again atleast i worked for me

solo this just back way entry-- and pull the guys to 73,43, then mask part 73,40 confirmed next part just pulled em back to same spot and camped 73,41 for respawns no aggro and cake lvl 67 mage

I don't know if they just added this or not, but Wildlorn Antelarion at Evergrove will give you another mask if you ask for it.

Well worth it. I replaced a Shadow lab neckpiece with the quest reward here. It also gives tons of Cenarion Expedition xp, which you need for the heroic coilfang key.

I did this quest this morning and had no problems at all with the mask, and I put it on and off several times along the way, so it looks like it's all fixed.

And if you are like me and ASSUME the mobs will be friendly to you when you put the mask on, THEY WON'T BE. Red is red, and they will attack! lol

Because the mask has a timer, go ahead and do the follow-on quest while you're there, then take your time finding a group for the one after that, as it does not require the mask or using the communicator.

The coords 73,40 confirmed. It's the little device between the two green crystal pylons. To ensure that the communicator is usable, don't put the mask on until you're in front of the camp. Fairly easy quest chain except for the 3rd, which requires 2 people, unless you're an overpowered pet class. To turn-in the quests, simply go click on the communicator.

Follow the directions to the camp. The device is at 73, 40, a small thing between two floating green crystals. You have to actually be wearing the gas mask to even interact with the device. If you're not, you could mouse over it and it wouldn't even display a tooltip saying it's the legion communicator.

I talked to <GM>Grandenin about the gas mask issue, he said, "I have done further research on this matter. Once the gas mask has expired you are unable to get another one. We are currently looking into that issue".

I have a very special mission for you, <name>. I need you to infiltrate Forge Camp: Anger east of here. When you enter the camp you will need to wear the Felsworn gas mask and locate the Legion communicator. Once you have located the communication device speak with whomever is on the other side of the device.

If all works out you can trick the demon into something devious! Try telling the demon that camp anger has revolted.
