I was soloing this as a level 64 rogue, and found one hallway already cleared, so I was able to loot the chest with no problem.

Another hallway respawned just as I was entering, and I thought I could clear it with no consequence, but the respawn rate was out of control and I ended up dying once.

Be aware that the spawn rates vary and can get slightly hairy.

Easily solo'd as a 65 rogue. had imp sap but not really sure it's necessary. just sap the mobs closest to the chest and stand at max range to open them.. not 1 death and didn't have to kill a single mob. although the experience for clearing the rooms is probably decent.

One of the best things to do is clear the rooms as quickly as you can. Even better though is to get a few friends and finish this and the escort quest (inside the big room) at the same time, Escaping the Tomb (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10887) which has pretty decent rewards if you didn't raid in the old world.

Took alot of work for a level 64 holy paladin. I did 5 Corps runs. :) Ress, kill 1 mob, loot, and find next. Die, kill 1 mob, loot find next, ect ect.

The respawn rate isn't too much different than on the surface, but perhaps it was fixed to the rate I am reporting currently. Many early reports on respawn were due to the rate being higher than intended to make up for the high quantity of people entering the zones all at once at the very beginning. Currently a single person can clear out a wing of the Shadow Tomb, loot and be about halfway through the other side before the first respawn begins appearing. So I guess it is quick, but not insanely fast.

It is the high number, normal for Terrokkar, mob per foot ratio combined with an annoyingly high agro range that makes this section aggravating. I didn't die once, but I was a pet class. When one mobs agros there is usually a second, so unless you have a pet another person or CC will be very helpful.

Returning the respawn rate, I did notice that the Interrogator guarding the escort mission NPC did respawn three times before the guards outside the room respawned. She respawned a fourth time as I was trying to line up a pull on a single guard that had respawned outside the doorways. Plus I noticed she tended to pass me and make a bee-line to assist the mob my pet was attacking half a room away. I will try to remember to test her again late to see if this was a lone bug or working as intended.

There's also an escort located in the back hall of this tomb, don't forget to pick it up on your way out :)

He's kneeling on the left side of the back hall in the corner with a Cabal Interrogator standing right in front of him, the NPC is a draenei, unfortunately I forgot the name of this guy sorry.

The respawn rate for this quest is just ridiculously stupid. I killed the interrogator by the escort quest guy, and then mana'd/ate up. I start the escort quest, walk 5 feet and the interrogator respawns only to add to the two door guards I already had.

This quest is HARD! The Abjurists shoot out arcane Missles and they are close to the tomb raiders so you will get alot of aggro.

The cords for the "Scroll of Atalor" 31-46 are right on. solo'd at lvl 67. took my time..a piece of cake.

It was ok, just be carefull and everything will be fine.
Died once tho in left room, had 4 mobs on me, 2 of them casters.

Beware, the casters run away in fear when almost dead.

There is 1 chest in every room, so really can't miss that.
Respawn rate is high, so you might wanna keep up the pace.
But overall, it's not that hard to solo.

This quest is SO easy, well.... If ur a lock or hunter at least...

Go down, kill left side, empty the box, kill right side, and yes, Empty the box...

Go down the middle, kill everything... Quite easy to pull separately, max 2 ppl agro... End mob u can take alone... Pulling the Spellcasters = no agro..

After this, take Escort-quest... He hits VERY hard, he was almost able to solo the way out... But he DOES take dam., so be carefull...

All u need to keep in mind is HURRY, coz of very fast respawn from mobs...

Did this as 63 Aff. Lock.. Easy to solo... No need for Pots or stones.. ;)

This quest is ridiculous. I went in solo on my 66 holy pally, and while I didn't die during the quest, it was beyond tedious. These guys respawn incredibly fast, beware-- by the time I cleared enough to get to the end of the room, the ones by the door had already respawned. And forget being able to do this quickly, they hit so hard you'll have to drink and eat after every other kill or so. Also forget being able to walk down one side of the room without aggro'ing the other. All these guys were 2-3 lvls below me, and I put blessing of salvation up, but still could not manage to get through the room without clearing them all.

While it's ENTIRELY possible to solo the whole thing, doing so is quite boring and time-consuming. Get a group.

Did this as a 64 hunter and with another 65 hunter. With both of us killing as fast as we could, we still had respawns as we left.

The last room straight ahead, seemed to have the most mobs, at one point, we had aggroed 4 of them. Aside from that, soloing this should be doable, but taking a friend will make it a ton easier, even if you are a class with a pet.

We were in and out in 10 minutes.

Completed it with ease with a 65 Shaman.
The enemies did however respawn when i was going back in the largest room, but not really a problem. Just pull them one and one and it shouldnt be a problem for anyone.

I read the stuff here and expected a hard quest, but most of this is totally misleading. This quest is stupidly easy. The mobs die fast and very easily, you can grab all 3 things near enough before getting even one respawn. Either they've made it easier or the people here weren't using DPS classes.

You only need to pull mobs one by one, it's easy if you follow this indication.

I got killed twice because of the respawn, but no problem with the "boss".

I didn't even have to fight Hathyss.. (the boss in the last room). The chest is not linked to her, and far enough away that someone of comparable level will be ignored. Of course.. why wouldn't you want to fight her/it.

The mobs at the Shadow Tomb spawn extremely fast and the abujurers will run when dying. It is best to find a group to do this.

...as 65 BM Hunter. You can always get single pulls, and if you screw up, 1 more mob is the most that adds. The insanely quick respawn rate is what gets you.

Escort quest is easy if you get the 3 quest items first, then let the center hallway mobs respawn. Kill them, kill the two guards outside the tomb, and clear out any mobs about 50 yards in front of the tomb; then run back down into the tomb, take out the prison guard, and start the escort.

He'll get ambushed once by 2 mobs in the hallway, and once more 50 yards outside the tomb. If you don't clear the area first AND those two horseback orc patrols happen to show up, that's 3-4 more adds on top of the ambush.

it was'nt easy but it was a challengeing quest. Just keep moveing and the respawn will not be a factor.solo 65 warlock. Just go to bottom of steps and kill everything in the left or right rooms and open the chest for quest items.

it was an easy quest, easy to pull multiple mobs so be careful. did this as a lvl 65 shadow priest, didn't have much of a problem - only thing I didn't like was the escort quest related to that place, had to time to drink between fights and the nps died, I didn't feel like going back without a group..

Just completed as 65 pally. Mobs do regen very quickly (but not 5 secs, more like 3 minutes). Chest in room with boss is on the right side of room at the back. I was able to get chest without pulling boss. I cleared room on the way in and three mobs had regenerated in main room by the time I left. Additional regens in hallway to main room.

Easy to solo as 62 protection paladin. Escort quest too, easy.

Well the big boss on this quest maybe not dead easy, but not that bad. Just kept seal of light up, wore her down. Started at 1/2 health, 1/4 mana as a runner aggrroed her...so judge justice on those close to her to prevent that.

While the respawn rate never got me, I always ended up pulling two at a time. Not usually a problem, but those Tomb-Raiders are nasty. Be careful!

Just head west from the quest giver (those caravan people) and you will find a tomb. Go downstairs. In each room there is a chest. Open it and you get the quest items.

31, 52 is the correct location of the tomb entrance. At the bottom of the ramp, there is a foyer with rooms left, right and straight ahead. Each item is in a chest near the rear of each room. The chest in the straight ahead room is guarded by a "boss", which is a normal, but scary looking 65 mob. There are a lot of mobs, but they are just far enough apart to pull singly, and they don't wander too much. The casters do run however.

ps- I don't know what you're doing in Terokkar at 62. There are enough quests in Hellfire and Zangarmarsh to keep you plenty busy till 64 at least.

just did at as a 63 marksman hunter. wouldn't precisely call it easy - it punishes every little stuffup you make - but it's very achieveable.

it's great training for hunters (and pulling in general) - if you can play your class well, you should wander through with minimal fuss. one bad pull and things'll get awkward, but in a manner you should be able to deal with (freeze traps, careful aggro management, good choice of bandages vs heal vs pots, retreat then feign/heal/re-attack, etc.)

and the end 'boss' is a joke. looks flashy, got a flashy aoe strike, dunno what else it had cos it died too quick - easiest fight of the lot by a long way.

as a side note, i found it advantageous to do one room then retreat back to the main entryway - wait for the mobs around the main room to regen, kill them again & be relatively confident that you won't have a regen at your back for the next room.

For the rooms on the left and right, cat/stealth in and go right to back of room, behind the tent where the chest is. From there you can pull the 1 or 2 guys guarding the chest, then loot the chest and cat/stealth out to the next room. For the room straight ahead cat/stealth to the back and snuggle up on the ledge to the Boss's left. From there you can pull the single guy, then cat/stealth up onto the ledge nearest the chest, loot it and cat/stealth out again.

Yeah this was a bit hard to solo for level 65 balance druid. I didn't end up dying but they repop a little fast and you basically have to clear the whole place out. There are three chests, each with one item and you have to go left, right, and straight to get the three.

The boss room has alot of mobs and a heavy respawn rate. I went to solo it ended up teaming up with some people when I got inside, glad I did. The boss room mobs respawned in 5 seconds flat, and there were alot of them.

This is easy if you use the right tactics. I went in as a demo lock and used guerilla tactics to down each room. I just went in, killed the mobs in no particular order, opened the chests, then started to walk back to the entrance. I had mabye 2 or 3 respawns as I got back and that was only from the boss room. Once I got there I just replenished my health and mana and waited for my felguard to do the same and repeated. Got several marks this way too. This is actually a really nice place to get marks just because of the respawn rates.

My level 67 shadow priest got pwnd outside the entrance. Spawn rate is INCREDIBLY fast. Not even enough time to drink for mana before respawn. I have no clue what server's others are on, or if the spawn time varies for some reason, but it is not easy sauce.

Went in today with my 67 Mage. The usual respawns and lots of mobs jumping in from different rooms but that's the usual deal. The problem I had was that none of the chests were there. I've done this quest a dozen times with no problem on different classes and it's not like the chests are hidden. They're in plain view. Not sure what the problem is but at least there's a lot of XP just from killing dozens of those annoying casters. I'm confident the Blizz team will sort this out and the Time-Constrained Player has already moved on. Time is the only thing we can't buy more of, except in Azeroth of course. :-)

Many believe it was the Shadow Council that caused the explosion that tore Auchindoun apart. It is rumored they awoke a great evil inside.

If that is true, then that evil must have turned against them. According to these orders, part of the Shadow Council is fleeing Auchindoun. They are using the Shadow Tomb to store powerful artifacts from Auchindoun.

Three of these are sacred, for they belonged to the powerful patriarchs Arunen, K'alen and Atalor. I must ask you to retrieve them.
