only tried arcatraz heroic once yet.
first boss isnt easy but doable with a second healer.
second boss is easy, no big difference to normal mode.
third boss (the one with immolation) is hard, at least for us.
got him to like 54% with warrior, restro shaman, mage, rogue and holy priest. (yea melee sucks on that fight).

We got harbinger to 20% and wiped. The next time we tried it Millhouse would not spawn. I'm not sure if it's a bug or if that's what supposed to happen but just be aware. We petitioned and the gm said to soft reset (meaning we had to clear trash again). Anyway, here is what we had when it worked:

First boss was the imp who threw 3k fireballs every once in awhile. Quite easy especially with the break for Millhouse to spawn.

Second boss was the air elemental who did the AOE lightning that hit for quite alot, probably ~4k I would say every 10-15 seconds. It's not bad with some aoe heals but you have to watch out the a curse he does which is 100% more damage.

Third boss was the broodlord type of guy, nothing much just a knockback. Quite easy.

Harbinger's "mind flay" is upgraded to 2000 a tick for 4 ticks. I don't recall anything different from the normal version other than that. He does it a little bit more often than the regular version as well.

If you do not have a decurser and get the wind elemental during final boss event, you gotta have very good healing, but it is possible.

Make a /target millhouse macro to check heals on the NPC but he should be ok unless he tries to tank the boss splits.

Warning: Millhouse will nuke MCd players! To prevent millhouse killing your party members, don't let anybody get too low on health, and scatter shot MCd people asap!

It is possible for a group to kill the Harbinger under Heroic difficulty and shuffle players into the instance to talk with Milhouse and complete the quest. This is similar to how it used to be possible to shuffle players into an instance to retrieve the key fragments for Karazhan.

I recommend doing it as soon as you can before Blizzard 'fixes' it. ^_^

With today's annoucement by Blizzard that there will now be no attunement required to enter The Eye, it is no longer necessary to do this quest:

However the quest will remain in game; the same post also implies they may add a reward in the future for those who have fully completed this questline.

You can skip the first boss, it's hardly worth the trouble. The middle bosses are quite easy, but the last boss is ridiculously difficult.

He mind rends for 2000x4 damage with only a two second cooldown, mind controls players, and clones himself. All party members need to be above 8k health to survive the mind flay, and bringing two healers is strongly adviced.

It's basicly a luck fight. If he mind rends the same player twice in a row it's GG unless you can break out of it (bubble or iceblock). Sometimes he mind rends then mind controls a healer, then mind rends another player and it gets ugly quite fast. Just cross your fingers and hope that he mind rends millhouse alot because it's easier to heal him. When he clones himself, pray to god that the dps doesn't get mind rend and/or mind controlled. With some skill and extreme luck you should be able to down him.

Thank god this instance is getting nerfed.

When you have done the Cypher of Damantion Questline in Shadowmoon Valley you receive a letter from Khadgar which leads you to this Quest.

You no longer need attunement pre-quests to get into The Eye.

With the latest patch, Blizzard removed the attunement process and now the quests can be completed just for the sheer satisfaction.

Same goes for the attunement process to get into Serpentshrine Cavern, it's no longer needed.

TBC Classic: the old trick of bringing in your guild mates to get quest completion after you complete the dungeon does not work in this version of the game.

If millhouse is still alive and your party wipes don't release if you think he can solo the remaining hp. Released mid fight and didn't get credit for rescuing millhouse even though he killed the boss and, I was able to get loot.

Did this tonight in a PUG. A guild group might have been better, but with a paladin tank, mage, warlock, enhancement shaman, and holy priest, it went smoothly. I'm not super geared as a healer, about 1800 or 1900 healing power, and on the final fight I switched from primal mooncloth to gear with more stamina, and used stamina food instead of fish sticks. Died twice anyway, but between a soulstone and healing in angel form at the very end, we did fine. I think consumables are worth it just to have your best shot. It's nice as a healer to have Millhouse marked and to have a macro to target him; otherwise he can get lost in the general chaos. He has a lot more health than a tank, so don't be surprised when it takes several greater heals (or the equivalent) just to top him off when he takes a little damage, and it seemed very safe to focus on player health first. I may have lucked into a good group, but a friend managed to do this in a PUG with 3 mages, 2 of them very undergeared, so mostly posting this to say, it's not crazy to PUG this or to go in without perfect group composition.

Four trials you must pass before you are deemed worthy by the naaru.

In our travels we have encountered many dangerous beings. Some of these beings we incarcerated and placed in what is now known as the Arcatraz of Tempest Keep.

There is one prisoner, however, that is a victim of circumstance. A stowaway who was in the wrong naaru vessel at the wrong time.

Venture to the Arcatraz and rescue the gnome, Millhouse Manastorm. Ensure his survival.
