I got about a 10% drop rate off of the felguards (Death's Might), which is also what the accumulated wowhead data shows. Don't be fooled by the comments above... it could take a long time to get them.

I had a problem turning in this part, in the quest says you need to call him inside the cave, but it kept saying "You need a target." Instead, I flew above the entrance and used it there, and I could turn it in (the NPC bugged a bit, tho, I don't know why).

I had a 90%+ drop rate both times I did this quest for myself and helping a friend when he did it. We just killed the felguards and the giant floating eyeballs :)

For me the Over-Smiths had the best drop rate.

So far 3 dropped from the Death's Might and 1 from a Death's Watch and 1 dropped from a Deathforge Technician, took about 15mins..pretty easy, but once I banished one of the 3 patrolling death's might, and fought the other 2 with my felguard, then outta nowhere, like a million more came, I dunno how they got agro'd

I didn't get a drop before I dropped the Mark of Sargeras quest.
First Fel Guard dropped afterwards, and kept flowing.

I had zero drop rate at the north tunnel (killed a lot of mobs), but over 50% drop rate at the south tunnel (slightly inside and in front of it).

So my advice is to try your luck at the southern tunnel.

Taking a while for me, I would say the drop is about 20%-30% from all mobs in Death's Door.

The drop rate listed for the fel cannonball is not accurate since it only drops when you have the quest. It was 56% for me (5 from 9 kills) from Death's Mights.

I abadoned this quest to make room in my quest log for dailies. When I came back to pick the quest up, it wasn't available from anyone in Evergrove.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice on what I can do to restart this chain?

Have done this quest 3 times, more recently as a hunter. Here is my most recent experience...

I went to cave entrance, southe of Thunderlord... Hoped on mount, and rode right through everything in that cave... once through mouth of cave, hopped off of mount, Summoned Drood, turn-in, accept, went back into cave...
Death's Watch! - dead (drop)
Death's Might! - dead (no drop)
Death's Watch! - Dead (drop)
Death's Watch! - dead (drop)
Death's Might! - dead (drop)
Death's Watch! - dead (drop)

On previous characters I tried killing the Over-seers with no luck and eventually killed the watches and Mights... They have better drop rates and the watches have the best drop rates... Just putting that out there....

For those who's end the quest,
Just goto the Death doors area,
Use your "DURID SIGNAL",
End the quest and get next part.

No problems in getting the ammunition off the mobs in the cave, but now that I need to resummon the druid, I keep getting an "I don't have a target" error message when I try to use the flare again..

The Cannon balls are drops of the mobs that start with "death's" I had better luck on drops in the north.

The Evergrove Druid has asked you to collect 5 Fel Cannonballs. Once you have done so, use the Druid Signal to call to the Evergrove Druid inside of Death's Door at the Blade's Edge Mountains.

We must shut down the Burning Legion's access to Death's Door, but first you're going to destroy their two warp-gates!

The problem is, we can't even scratch one of those things, so you're going to need to use their own weapons against them.

The death's might, death's watch, deathforge over-smiths and deathforge technicians carry the ammunition for the fel cannons.

Normally it wouldn't affect any of them, but if you bring the cannonballs to me, I will imbue them with Nature's unbridled wrath!
