It's easiest to do this quest while working on these others for the fastest overall progress, reputation, and XP. I found that all the enemies for and around these other quests dropped the feathers adequately enough.

Maybe coincidental but when me and my brother turned this quest in for the first time we both got a blue item out of the bag reward it gives.

this quest is NOT REPEATABLE for rep with lower city after you reach friendly... as I discovered after spending 60g on feathers in the AH in hopes of getting reverred without a 3 hour labrynth run.

It should be noted here that the random-suffix BOE blues and rares rewarded from Arakkoa feather turn-ins and from minibosses in Skettis have a slightly different, more class-specific set of random suffixes.

Of course the stats of these suffixes benefit other classes as well, but these suffixes have a more specific design than, say, Bandit or Sorceror.

The best drop is - mobs drop 2 feathers per one drop at Veil resk village - cords arround 48.16 and arround.

not the best droprate in the world, but dont get too aggravated by it. all of them drop cloth, water, silver and sometimes a rare spawn will drop a boe blue. took me about 35 minutes to get all the feathers but i walked away with over 50 gold in cash and prizes.

I have been reading the post on slow drops for the feathers. I found that the ville at 50,17 yielded an approx. 1 out of 2 drop. Accept the quest "Thin the Flock". Do that one and this one at the same time. Took maybe an hour for both quest.

My only sack (reached honored with it) contained 67 lvl blue boots, went to guildie hunter. Free ofc ^^

Just grabbed the quest 64 Undead mage. So confirm horde and level 64. Maybe level 63 can get it as well?

Apparently everybody got blues out of theirs, I just got a green belt, but a good one: +stam, +int, +shadow (I'm a lock)

The bag can also contain blues, I just pulled a Dreadhawk's Schynbald of the Hunt out of one.

250 reputation per 30 feathers. Bag can contain scrolls, potions, and a green item of around level 63.

As an outcast, I am marked by death by arakkoa loyal to the city of Skettis. I cannot leave these walls for fear of my life, but that doesn't mean I cannot strike at them in retaliation.

I have a small cache of treasure that I'm willing to part with, should you help me strike back at my would-be assassins. Bring me feathers from the denizens of the various Veils of Terokkar as proof of their demise.
