Very simple, albeit boring quest. I only faced three mobs along the way until we faced a worm-like monster (you may have seen them around the Bone Wastes already). Kill the mob and the escort should be completed.

Note that the worm hits very hard. It was firing bolts of nature damage for nearly 1,000 damage. Make sure you kill it fast.

Very easy as mage because you can shoot it when it is going beneath the earth.

Easily soloable as a 64 rogue. Just pop into stealth and follow them. I killed 5 mobs maybe, never got below half health. Just pop in a cheap shot add a combo point, and then throw in a kidney shot (any monster they agro).

I am not sure why this is recommended for two people. I did it as a level 65 hunter and did not have to fight any mobs during the walk.

The group will summon a single level 65 mob (after quite a long wait at the dig site) and then you're done when it dies.

EASILY solo'd as a 63 rogue. I would stealth, until they agrod a mob. Cheap shot, hemorrhage, kidney shot. By then, they killed it.

Same with the "boss". Lvl 65 worm.

Killed 3 mobs along the way, watched them dig up a drum, and argue for a bit. Then the worm came and died. :)

I'll echo that this quest is easily soloable. The five dwarf NPCs can easily handle any roaming mobs, and the boss, with your help alone. All you have to do is stay in the middle of the circle (so that they get aggro before you) and help with anything they go after.

The dialogue from the quest is priceless, though, and worth transcribing.

Confirmed, this is the easiest quest ever. Quite possibly, the miners you are protecting could possibly kill on their own every mob you encounter while "escorting" them.

This chain is soloable. I soloed all 3 quests as a 63 rogue. For this first part just follow the dwarves i had to kill 3-4 mobs. For the next part as said by somebody else you need to do it right outside the outpost and keep your back to the worms it will teleport behind you and be killed by the guards. For the last part go to were they say and kill a clefthoof then use the Thumper. Immediatly use some sort of a stopwatch and sprint and or vanish away. At around 1 min 45 seconds burn evasion and go un-stealth right above his body hit him a couple times and at 2 mins he will die and you will get credit for the kill. Hope this helps!

wow, it was down to 60% health almost as soon as it poked its head out of the ground. Im a hunter so at this point i sent my pet and used arcane shot and it was dead. I dont think i was needed :(

I saw at least 2 movie references there. 1 from The Mummy (I think there's somethin' buried here, beneath the sand!) and 1 from Medicine Man (Or that time when you told us that you'd discovered the cure for the plague of the 20th century.)

I love how Blizzard adds this stuff. It's fun to find.

I couldn't believe how easy this quest was. Usually I don't accept escort quests because they just are irritating. I took a chance on this one and it was pie. You just follow the dwarves kill a few skelletons on the way. Then there is a lvl 65 worm that comes up. I didn't even hit him twice and he was down.

quest giver stands at 30.76 if he isnt there it is because someone else has already activated the quest. It takes less than 5 min from start to finish.

Im pretty sure the dwarves could do this on their own. I didn't try it but, 1 non-elite 65 worm spawns the ENTIRE thing, and it's after they're digging the secluded spot. All 5 of them do pretty good damage, and since they book it on the way back all you need to do is make sure they dont run into 5 things walking to the dig spot, which is unlikely. I'd suggest starting it and going out for a smoke.

I honestly cant see why Blizz has made all the escort quests in Terokkar group ones. This was so easy that it's more of a joke... Five level 65 npc's cant handle one sand worm? Rrrrrright.

This quest is dead easy, in fact if you need to grind the mobs for some other quests (can't remember the name right now), you may as well just go and aggro them ahead of the escort, then pull them back so the escort can give you a hand in ganking them at the same time!

Waaayyy too easy. The worm I fought wasn't even elite... and as a hemo rogue with 5 npcs attacking everything just made it that much easier.

I was amazed by how simple this quest was. 2 scorpions and 1 worm later and done, I am not even sure it took 5 minutes. It is worth it to read what the diggers say when they discover the drum.

This quest is acquired at level 63 not level 64. Myself, a 62 rogue and my wife, a 63 rogue, went and tried this quest. she was able to pick it up but not I. it is very easy till you get to end of quest line where you take on a 64-66 elite worm. we had a 64 hunter with us who joined us at last part taking on the elite worm( he was 66 elite when he spawned). The hunter almost died but was able to heal up using first aid once myself and the wife got into a groove of keeping it stunned using kidney punches between us. She would stun then when it wore off i would kidney punch it with 5 combo points. This made it possible to do at our level. once I get to level 63 i will go back with her and maybe another hunter and do this again to get the fantastic dagger as a reward.

Very easy. I did this as a 64 hunter, and got agro from 1 scorpion and 1 lost spirit :) Easy xp.

Definitely not a group quest even though it says it is.

I'm 100% confident you could AFK and let the dwarves kill everything even if they chain pulled 4 adds.

Oy! You look like you can take care of yerself, <race>. Me and the crew here are looking for a bodyguard to watch over us while we hit a dig site to the north. The pay is pretty good and all you gotta do is make sure no nasty creatures kill me or any of my employees.

If you successfully make it back without any casualties, Dwarfowitz over there will pay ya.
