Giant bone dragon is spawned, similar to Sapphiron. We brought 3 dps, and he was easy. He was nova/dragon's breathable, and was easy. Could probably solo in light of this, but we brought more than was necessary in case he wasn't.

When you summon him it takes all of the doomskulls so be sure you are ready or else you will have to farm them again. Also a lot of people dont know what these skulls are, and you don't have to have the quest to get them to drop. Usually you can ask around and get 20.

I soloed this as a LvL 65 Warlock with Warlords. I am Affliction with imp HS and imp Fel Armor. I sacced the void and and dotted him up then just cast shadow bolts. I had to pot once, use a healstone that healed for something around 1700 and also Death Coil for the healing. It was a VERY close fight, but I didn't get a lot of nightfall procs so I would imagine a buffed up hunter / mage could do this.

A word of warning - there are guys around the summoning portal, if you kill them then wait too long (1 minute) and summon the dragon, they will spawn before the dragon lands and cause problems. As a warlock I just shadow warded through all their damage when they did because all they do is cast Shadow Bolts. Also Teribus goes nutso is you don't get aggro on him. I have seen him wonder from the mound and go pretty far south.

Easily duo-ed by lvl 64 mage and lvl 65 priest.

A trick for collecting skulls - each party member loots one, but they are not soulbound and are tradeable. Make sure everyone loots every single mob, you will gather summoning materials much faster.

It might take some time for him to appear. It took atleast a minutte for him to spawn when I did this quest.

The Doom Skulls I'd say were about a 50% drop rate. I only looted them off of the Doomsayers and Death Speakers though. The initiates I never got one from.

Easily soloed a 65 Feral Druid

Heres how I did it:
All I did was start his little summoning sequence, then when he landed, switched into bear and played it from there. Switched out and healed when I needed to (one time) and also a frenzied regeneration. Ended up with about 90% hp left and 60% mana. I dont't know about other classes but a druid can easy solo this. Let me add in that this mob is snarable and stunable.

Yes, this quest is certainly solo-able. This is how:

Before summoning it, clear the western mound and 2 vultures that leads to the eastern entrance of Auchindoun. This is the place where there's a flight of stairs that you jump down when you wiped in any of the instances. After he summons, kite it over to the top of the stairs. When he gets close to you, jump down (away from the instances) and run toward the other side and repeat until he dies. A word of caution is to becareful of him despawning because it has done it to me about half a dozen times for not hitting him within about 6 seconds so keep hitting him.

We (64 Mage + 66 Priest) summoned him the first time, he took forever to land and by the time he did mobs started respawning - so we wiped. The second time we summoned him we had a 70 druid to tank and he kept running away. Very annoying, but he never attacked once - just kept running and getting blasted by the mage.

Soloed as 70 holy paladin. Blessing of Wisdom, Judgement of Wisdom and used Seal of Vengeance for damage. Keep yourself healed and it's no problem.

Easily solo'd as an epic 70 arms warrior (31/30 arena pvp spec). He got me to 51% health before he died with me using retaliation and trinket. Very easy.

Got the dragon to below 20% hp with another Paladin before hordes ganked us. (Including lvl 70 hordes). Second try same thing happend.. I guess the 9 year olds lack pvp skills for their own league. Gonna do this tomorrow again, but it didnt seem hard at all. Hp and mana was steady all the way untill the hordes ganked us.

Solo'd as 66 enhancement Shaman...just let the earth elemental tank it while I killed it...healed Elemental twice and myself once. Life was steady whole fight
the dragon doesn't dish out that much damage.

Duo'd with a 64 frostmage and 66 shadow priest (me). Kept dots + VE up, used shadowfiend for mana restore + extra DPS, frost mage used elemental. Used a Super Healing Pot but in retrospect probably didn't have to.

Sword vendors for a cool 8G 24s. :)

It's taking about one minut untill he spawns. Make sure that you clear the area before you spawn him. The position is right, on top of the hill.

soloed hi as 64 warlock, just dot him and send your pet on him, keep healing your pet and dont yuse other spells than your dots caus if you do it will agro too moutch and if hi tries to take you, you can kiss your ass godby

took him down easily with my 66 hunter. sent my pet in with a heal on himself, then just kept my distance poisoning him, until he was half dead, then piled on arcane shots til he dropped:)

Solo'ed as a 65 prot pala, pulled him abit towards Auchindoun, away from the hill with respawns. Cost me some pots, put JoW on him and SoL on myself and went to town with Consecration and Holy Shield. Had to bubble to bandage about mid-fight. Towards the end I popped BoP but ofc one of those worms came and started spitting poison on me so I couldn't bandage.
Luckily I had one major health pot left and Teribus had like 2-3k hp so I just barely grinded him down with 1h-melee(was oom). Wasn't easiest fight but managable

definetely an easy solo:

69 feral (49 points so far) druid, around 17k armor, 10k hp. Started in bear with tanking gear, didn't have to heal once, not even Frenzied Regeneration. Had about 35% hp left when he hit the ground. Much easier than e.g. Terokkarantula, which is quite doable as well.

Just Solo'd him as a lv 66 BM hunter, wasn't hard at all. Just keep your pet healed and shoot him dead.

Easily soloed by a 66 Beast Mastery Hunter.

Laid down an immolation trap where he lands, sent the pet and hit bestial wrath and quick shots and just went to town. Made sure to keep Mend Pet up at all times.

No pots or consumables used.

Im a lvl 66 BM hunter

The first part of the quest where you need to collect the 20 skulls is the parts which takes the longest time.
The skulls have around 50% drop chance, so you need to kill around 40 mobs, and if you dont have anything stop healing, which i didnt have, then the healing ones takes ages to kill.

In the middle - where you need to summon him, there are 4 mobs. Kill them as the last mobs before you summon him. Due to the short respawn time its important that they are killed right before you summon him, otherwise they come during the fight - happened to me the first time.
AND YOU DONT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN!
If you loose the fight, the 20 skulls are gone, and he flies away again. So avoid that!

About the actual figth with him:
He hit my lvl 66(50% dmg reduction from armor) pet for around 275-300 dmg each hit, didnt do any spells just normal hit.
The nice part about him is that he is CC-able which is rare for an elite in his size. So i was able to trap him a few times so my pet could heal fully up.
Nothing hard in the fight, and seems most classes are able to solo him with a potion thought it says suggested 3 players

the rewards though are a bit shitty =/
normaly when you kill an elite this size you get rare rewards, all you get here is a silly green.

If, like me, you skipped these quests first time round - rest assured, it's soloable at 70. As an arcane mage I just slowed him and nuked away with AM.. took like 40 seconds.

Solod him as a 64 BM hunter with ravager. fairly easy the trick to fighting him is to kite him a little bit ways from the middle so the 4 guys dont spawn and ruin the fight. the trick for hunters to solo him is that mend pet probally wont keep your pet up so when its getting low run up to the boss and lay a freeze trap and bandage your pet while the dragon is frozen

Teribus the Cursed has a melee attack that hits rather hard. That is why the quest to kill him suggest three players. However, he seems to be susceptible to all the various forms of crowd control measures that can be used against undead. Priest can shackle, paladins can turn undead, druids can use entangling roots or cyclone, mages can use freezing effects, other classes can stun or kite him using whatever methods they have at their disposal.

Personally I have soloed him with a warlock, a protection warrior and a mage (all level 70). I havn't tested all the abilities mentioned in the previous paragraph, but I'm pretty confident that they will all be usable against him.

Did it with a level 64 Retri Paladin (me) and a 67 Hunter.
Getting the skulls is really easy. All the guys around the circle have a ~70% droprate. They are also easy kills (warlocks and mages).

The hunters pet tanked at Teribus, and had around 50% HP at det end of the fight. Very easy. :)

Super easy to solo as a 70 Balance druid (I'm around 900 spell damage and in PVP gear- 10600 health). Can root it, send in your treants, just blast it down. Stayed in Moonkin the whole time, no need to heal. Much easier than when I tried it at 67!

Oh, make sure to clear the area first and drag it off the mound.

The dragon itself was shamefully easy on my Feral Druid (lvl 66 at the time I completed the quest). Bashable and rootable.

What that means tactic wise is that you use bash whenever you feel like it basically, then chain root him til bash is off CD. So you can heal to full, wait on mana, and wait on bash CD and pick the time you want to reengage the mob.

Only difficult part is obtaining the 20 Doom Skull, and making sure you clear the area of all mobs and pull the dragon AWAY from the mound. Very quick respawn.

Quick Note: If one skull drops off of a mob, everyone in the party will get a skull if they choose to loot it.

An easy quest, and most people will be willing to do it with you if you already have all the skulls.
Also, the Dread Relic used to summon the boss might stay in your bag after you turn in the quest, so check afterwards and get rid of it if necessary.

It would be wise to clear the area around him.....and as soon as you kill those 4 guys in the middle start summoning him.....you can have your mana break in his summon animation time.
Yes....easily soloable as a 64 feral drood....bear form....heal once or twice...doesn't hit hard....just make sure not to move around so much to aggro smth else.

Tried to solo as a 64 frost mage, took about 30 mins to get the skulls, with about 20% drop rate, got him to about 30% without barely getting touched, lag spike and died, biggest waste of time ever.

Also, if you don't want to get all those skulls, you can get him off from the sky (he circles around Auchindoun) and fight him where you land (but you can only do this if you have something that def you from dieing by the fall)

Make sure to doublescout for Hordes/Alliance before doing this quest. We had a hard time obtaining 20 skulls, when all of a sudden 4 7'0 rogues came out of nowhere, grabbing our dragon... Frustrating

i did this at lv70, flew up with my mount, unmounted in air, icelanced him, iceblocked to avoid dying, and then killed him easily.

so 70 mages who forgot to do this quest at 65, you don't need the 20 skulls :)

Go to Writhing mound is at 48,66.

Kill everything around the circle till you have 20 skulls. The four guys in the middle are not linked and can be individually pulled. First time I went there a lvl 70 full PVP epic warrior nailed me, me being lvl 65 in blues. I didn't do to well with him. Went back the next night got the skulls and summoned the bird. A tip, kill the four guys last before you summon so they dont respawn in the middle of your fight. I had one respawn, but toward the end and was able to kill him off after I killed the bird. Had to heal once. He is much easier to solo than Larry in Shatt. Lots of armor but hits like a puppy, just tank him down with dire bear.

If your on a pvp server, you might want to bring a friend, if an allie kills you during the fight you get to collect 20 more skulls. Hate those pesky allies. Druid power. ;)

Solod as a 66 affliction lock. Pretty easy fight, used demon armor instead of fel armor and had my Void tank him while I DoTed and Funnel healed. Had to pop soulshatter once after nightfall shadow bolt, but didn't get agro again after that.

Make sure not to leave any skulls in the bank as you can only have 20 in inventory, including bank. I figured I could just get 20 more whilst there but it doesn't let you.

Easy to do if you clear the circle first. I did this when I was a 65 feral druid and I had no issues. I would imagine if you were 65+ about any class should be able to solo it.

Soloed this as a 64 demonology warlock. Cleared the hill of casters getting 20 doom skulls, good drop rate...be sure to kill the 4 casters around the summoning circle then immediately use the relic. The dragon took awhile to spawn after I used it...

Anyway, I simply sent in Felguard and dotted the dragon up with Immolate, Curse of Agony, and Corruption (using spell power trinkets before each dot cycle) and the proceeded to health funnel my felguard until I needed to reapply the dots. Used one healthstone since I lifetapped to keep Felguard's mana up. Took about 2 minutes at the most...very easy for a warlock or hunter.

Clearing the circle is the best strategy, so you can be ready for the dragon when you get your last skull.

Everything to boost DPS was needed in order to win - Bestial Wrath with The Beast Within both working, plenty of healing of the pet, snake traps, click-to-summon fighting pets (all I had was Figurine - Truesilver Boar), and just dump mana and healing as needed, and keep aggro on pet. Stun the mob as often as you can to keep its output damage down and aggro off you.

The actual mob is HUGE, but its target circle is small. I suggest dropping traps inside the circle as well as standing there to fight. In EQ, this would be called a "belly caster."

I wasn't sure what to expect when I summoned him, but I kinda got a little nervous when this huge skeletal dragon landed in front of me and started attacking me...

As a DM/Dest Lock, I was able to 1-shot him at lvl 66, using my felguard to hold him and keeping my dots up, all the while healing my felguard..

48, 67 are correct.

I was going to try to solo him as 69 frost mage but there was a 70 night elf hunter collecting skulls when I got there. We grouped and quickly had the 20 skulls. The skulls are soulbound but it doesn't matter who summons Teribus. Once dragon was overhead he sent in pet and I sent in WE then we both hammered him with ranged attacks, FB for me. He went down very fast but that's to be expected considering the firepower we laid on him. Good advice to clear the hill before summoning. It takes maybe 30 seconds for him to appear

He is rootable (biiiiiiig roots) and has no ranged attacks so quite easy for a balance druid. Only problem I had was some adds when backing up (hate those worms).

DON'T SPLIT THEM UP: one person must have 20 skulls and they're not tradeable.
Teribus is simple. No special abilities at all.

Writhing Mound is at 48,67 NE of Sha'tari Base Camp.
You can kill all the death-speakers and auchenai doomsayers for the 20x Doom Skulls on Writhing Mound. Once you have the 20x Doom Skulls, use the Dread Relic at the Writhing Mound Summoning Circle (center of the mound)to summon and destroy Teribus the Cursed.

Quest says Group of 3 but we did it with 2. Druid keeps the rogue healed for the win!

Level 66 Tauren Druid, solo'd him. Had to use a potion because an add popped up early on. Luckily he's a straightforward fight, and is not immune to stuns, so bash'n'heal works. He is immune to Lacerate, though, which made the fight much longer.

grace of air/strenght of earth, poped blood fury, fire elemental and a few lesser heals, got me down to like 45% hp. it hit for around 450.

Collecting skulls is the hardest part of the quest, it takes 15min to get them all:\.. The seasit one is killing teri;) soloed as 66lock not req a group^^

This quest is bugged on TBC Classic. Spent like 20min gathering the skulls only for him to not spawn when I used the relic on the summoning circle.

Seems like he wont appear until his view range is activated. So if you're doing it late at night and no ones near his flight path, he wont teleport until so.

Tried to solo as a fury warrior and it didn't go well, you can't kite him to bandage, hamstring doesn't slow him down. Got him down to 50% health with good gear and popped Reck, health potion and with 100 rage at start.

Hi guys! This quest is bugged but I've just found a way to do it. Basically - Teribus the Cursed is the skeleton dragon that flies around the Auchindoun. When you use the relic - the dragon basically stops and stands in the air wherever he was while he was flying around.
To kill him I had to mount up, fly up close enough to reach him with the spell range, dismount and cast the spell while falling down to aggro him. At that point I could kill the dragon and finish the quest.

Evil Draws Near

Oakun wants you to take the Dread Relic to the Writhing Mound. Once there, kill Auchenai Death-Speakers and Auchenai Doomsayers to collect 20 Doom Skulls. Then find the Writhing Mound Summoning Circle and use the Dread Relic to summon and destroy Teribus the Cursed. Return to Oakun when the deed is done.

Now you must use the Dread Relic in a foul necromantic ritual if you wish to challenge Teribus the Cursed. To the northeast, beyond Auchindoun, is the Writhing Mound, a place where necromancers gather.

The auchenai death-speakers and doomsayers carry doom skulls that are laced with powerful necro-enchantments. If you collect enough skulls you can use their power along with the power of the Dread Relic to command Teribus to face you.
