You can get the quest from the Druid trainer in Moonglade after you have purchased the 300 riding skill.

I'm pretty sure you can start this quest from any druid trainer in Darnassus, Thunderbluff, or Moonglade once at level 70 with 300 Riding. (Though as a druid, it's probably easiest to use your Moonglade teleport and not waste your hearth.)

You may also pick up this quest from Theridran in Ironforge.

Using the Portals in Shattrath City, you can get to Ironforge, pick up the quest and then either use you Hearthstone or use The Stockade "free hearthstone" trick, to quickly get back to Shattrath City and continue the quest line.

To start this questline, you need to have 300 Riding Skill.
The total reputation gained off doing the quests is 2210 with the Cenarion Expedition.

Items needed for this questline:
5000g for the Riding Skill from the Trainer. (Horde) (Alliance)
10 x Ancient Lichen

This quest leads to 'The ward of wakening' for the next part.

I got it from the druid trainer in moonglade so i'm guessing it's obtainable from any druid trainer providing you have 300 riding skill

Hi there,

First thing I did after patch was to go to moonglade and try to get the quest.
None proposed there. Is that related to the fact that I still don't have enough riding mastery?
Should I first get the 5000 po skill?

Wow... 23rd may was a patch 2.1.0 and yesterday 24th may I was flying already... I have epix flying mount since I did lvl 70. Actualy cca 14 days after. BUT THIS IS SO COOL!

Look! You need to have the 300skill in riding for being able to get the first quest. I get it from trainer in Thunder Bluff on horde side. So I expects that for Allies it could be able in Darnassus.

The best thing is that if you were farming herbs for example like I was on epix flying mount you had to land and dismount to gather the herb. But now I can just fly to the herb and gather. With the same speed, without dismounting and fighting a mobs who can assault you when you are gathering.

Morthis Whisperwing is the first quest to get Swift Flight Form.
You begin this quest in Moonglade, requires riding 300 & TBC Phase 2 to see the quest.

You can use Teleport: Moonglade to reach this zone fast.

Full Questline:

1. Morthis Whisperwing. Seek out Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.

2. The Ward of Wakening. Bring 10 Bogblossoms, 10 Ancient Lichen, and 10 Dreaming Glory to Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge.

3. Waking the Sleeper. Use the Ward of Waking to help Clintar Dreamwalker emerge from the Emerald Dream. When he is conscious, speak to him.

4. No Mere Dream. Protect Clintar Dreamwalker's Spirit while it gathers the relics of Aviana, then speak to Dreamwarden Lurosa.

5. Return to Morthis Whisperwing. Bring the Relics of Aviana to Morthis Whisperwing at Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.

6. To the Evergrove. Speak with Arthorn Windsong at the Evergrove in Blade's Edge Mountains.

7. The Book of the Raven. Use an Aether Ray Eye with your Seer's Stone to reveal the raven cult ghosts. Search the Vortex Pinnacle for the spirit of Sai'kkal the Elder and question him about the book of the raven, then return to Arthorn Windsong.

8. Eyes in the Sky. Speak with Watcher Elaira at the Twilight Ridge in Nagrand.

9. To Catch A Sparrowhawk. Use the Sparrowhawk Net to capture a Wild Sparrowhawk and bring it to Watcher Elaira on the Twilight Ridge.

10. The Raven Stones. Gather 8 Raven Stones from Skettis and bring them to Arthorn Windsong at Evergrove in Blade's Edge Mountains.

11. The Eagle's Essence. Defeat the Guardian of the Eagle and obtain the Essence of the Eagle. Use Arthorn's Sparrowhawk Whistle to call Arthorn's Sparrowhawk to relay news of your success.

12. The Falcon's Essence. Defeat the Guardian of the Falcon, obtain the Essence of the Falcon. Use Arthorn's Sparrowhawk Whistle to call Arthorn's Sparrowhawk to relay news of your success.

13. The Hawk's Essence. Defeat the Guardian of the Hawk and bring the Essence of the Hawk to Arthorn Windsong at the Evergrove.

14. Return to Cenarion Refuge. Bring Arthorn's Package to Morthis Whisperwing at Cenarion Refuge.

15. Chasing the Moonstone. Bring a Southfury Moonstone to Morthis Whisperwing at the Cenarion Refuge.

16. Vanquish the Raven God. Slay the Raven God and return to Morthis Whisperwing at Cenarion Refuge. Rewards: Swift Flight Form & Idol of the Raven Goddess.

17. Eternal Vigilance. Speak with Morthis Whisperwing to receive an Essence-Infused Moonstone. Rewards: Essence-Infused Moonstone.

Before all of the druidic orders coalesced into the Cenarion Circle, the Druids of the Talon were responsible for teaching promising young druids the mysteries of flight. With the dissolution of the order, former members teach the skill sparingly.

Even now, Morthis Whisperwing continues his search for a suitable apprentice. Few druids have truly mastered all the forms available to them, but you show the promise Morthis requires of his students. Seek him out at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh.
