You can also kill the Black Blood of Draenor mobs--they drop sludge-encrusted objects that occasionally contain the ore (I got one drop of 4 ore last night, though I'm not a miner).

The quest for this and the skinning/herbalism drops (which can also be looted from the sludge covered objects mentioned above) are only available if you have those professions.

From what I understand you can turn these in (and all daily quests) all the way to exhaulted.

Can a miner at skill 1 get this quest and can this be mined by other miners without the quest?

Is it me, or do you still have to be level 70 in order to do this quest, therefore the reward really does turn out to be 11g 99s?

You need the prequests to get any netherwing daily quest.
You need 350 mining skill to get this one.
If you get any of the 3 gathering quest (mining, skinning, herba) you can not get any more (1 of 3 only).
You still can get the Netherwing crystals quest from the same Taskmaster, though.
You can collect the ore regardless how many you collected so I assume you can mine it ever when you don't have the quest so those who have mining and skinning I'd say do one day the mining, skinning the other day so at least on one day you immediately can hand in the 40 ore you mined during the killing frenzy in the mines. Entrances are at (65,90) and (63,87)
I also confirm that netherwing eggs will be found in the vains (10% droprate I'd say).

As an extra note, the loot table on this ore is quite interesting. Not only is there a chance you will get a netherwing egg, you can also collect:

Eternium ore (1)
Mote of fire (1-2)
Mote of earth (1-2)
Uncommon Gem (1)
Rare Gem (1)

Yes, that's right. I had the fortunate luck to mine TWO rare gems from nethercite ore deposits inside 10 minutes. (one per node) Mind you, I have been mining the ore for weeks and never had one drop, so I expect that this was just blind luck.

However, the motes alone make it worthwhile mining. If you have to choose between the ore or the herb, the ore is a much better deal for the effort.

I dont seem to be able to get this quest, id this a miners only quest?
If so, shouldn't be as these ores do drop off mobs and I do have a collection that I would like to turn in for rep....
