You can't get this quest if you have the "A Strange Vision" quest from the horde town in Nagrand, I just had to abandon it for the exclamation mark to appear over the NPC's head.

I assume you can't have any one of the other 4 quests in your log either to get this one. I suggest doing this quest and dropping the others since this one gives some Scryer rep, even though it's a small amount every little bit helps. :)

If you have chosen scryers already and cant get the quest from this guy, then you need to go to Netherstorm and skip this step of the quest, his name is Spymaster Thalodien and is located in Area 52.

If still not possible, try abandon the quest for sunfury signs.

If you're looking for this guy in Area 52, rather then looking for the co-ords, just walk into the inn, he's sitting at the table.

Like the breadcrumb quests for Shadowmoon Valley, the breadcrumbs for Netherstorm are mutually exclusive. These breadcrumb quests are as follows:

A Strange Vision from Seer Nakha in Nagrand
Out of This World Produce from Old Orok in Balde's Edge Mountains

Report to Spymaster Thalodien from Arcanist Raestan or Arcanist Savan in Shattrath
Assist Exarch Orelis from Vindicator Aeus and Vindicator Kaan at Shattrath

Off to Area 52 from Netherologist Coppernickles in Netherstorm

Please note that Report to Spymaster Thalodien is a Scryer's quest, and may not be available for Aldar. For Scryers, this means it also rewards 10 reputation. Likewise, Assist Exarch Orelis is an Aldar quest with the same conditions.

Please also note that Off to Area 52 rewards 2g 83s compared to the 69s of the other breadcrumbs. Although this quest is technically in Netherstorm, it's actually on the Gyro-plank bridge to Netherstorm from Blade's Edge.

Fun Fact: Off to Area 52 used to award 1g and had it's own breadcrumb that awarded 1g 86s but that quest never made it out of beta.

Some time ago, Voren'thal dispatched a small team to Netherstorm to investigate the activities of Kael'thas. Our leader has the utmost confidence in Spymaster Thalodien and his compatriots, and has decided to honor his request for reinforcements.

Thalodien's report was brief, but clear that he's encountered something of great importance. Report to him at Area 52 and assist him in any way possible, <name>.
