This quest starts from bright green bottles that can be found in several of the Witherbark troll camps in the Hinterlands, and starts a chain that leads to Zul'Farrak. Plenty of experience points along the way!

There is another quest series called "Screecher Spirits" that you might want to pick up, as a few of the objectives coincide with areas for this "Venom Bottles" series of quests.

Screecher Spirits is picked up in Gadgetzan, and involves gathering objects in Zul'Farrak -- the instance to the west of Gadgetzan. Venom Bottles requires you to read a tablet at one of the Zul'Farrak mobs, Theka the Martyr.

STOP! Read through this quest chain before embarking on it. The drop rate for the item you'll need from the spiders is horrible, you'll have to go into the ZF dungeon, and at the end of it all fight a Lv 55 elite. You only get rewarded once, and your choices are a bunch of mediocre items.
I made the mistake of doing the chain before reading the wowhead entries, and I was very dissapointed with my final rewards.

where can you get the green bottle to start the quest?

It is in the Hinterlands. Go into the Hinterlands from Tarren Mill. Once you get into the zone turn right and hug the wall. You will run into a Witherbark Troll camp. These are the same ones you need to kill for the Stranglethorn quest called Grim Message. The bottle is on a table in the middle of the camp. You will not really notice it if you are not looking. Just mouse over the table and wait for the pointer to change.

I was doing 'A Grim Message' at the time and found the bottle at 22,57.

Little hint too, its the bottle that's layin down on the table, not one that's standing.

Since 2.3 the bottle shows up with an exclamation mark above it.

Definitely do this quest line. The reward for killing the spider is 12250 exp and 125 troll rep. Then, the follow-up (which is just showing up at UC and talking to an apothocary) is another 12250 exp and 125 troll rep and your choice of a blue item!

That being said, the spider is no pushover. She was hitting my 53 lock for 700 and poisons. Bring a friend that can heal.

and just a hint... dont run in expecting to be able to grab the quest and run... kill the guys first cuz it takes like 5 seconds to OPEN the bottle lol... i ended up dying trying to do that one

The venom bottle can be found on a table in the Zun'watha village. wloc location is 23, 58. Zun'watha is southeast of Aerie Peak and Southwest of the Quel'Danil Lodge.

You can find the venum bottle on a table directly west of the witherbark village in the Hinterlands

This bottle was sitting on the ground when I got it. Inside one of the Troll camps (closest to zone entrance). Big green bottle.
