So I paid to boost a character to lvl58 and this is the quest from the NPC that I appear in front of when I log on to the toon. It takes me to Lights Hope Chapel and questing in EPL? Uhmm, I suppose that maybe not everyone wants to go straight to Outlands but it would seem much more natural, having paid to boost my character for tBC content, for a quest to take me to the Dark Portal.
However, if you are wanting to, say, level up to 60 before going to Hellfire Peninsula this might be a good move for you.

edit- Well, I feel kind of silly. Got a week or two until I can actually go to Outlands. Silly me.

Just so ya know, don't just GO to EP, talk to the zeppelin master at whatever hub first and then go to Light's Hope. Travelled to LHC and then was like 'where's the quest turn in?'

Note that boosted characters have access to Lights Hope Chapel flight plans. Just ran all the way from UC and found out that I had the flight plan already

A guide told me to get this quest, but I never found it. Checked all the possible spots. Tauren Shaman.

Can anybody confirm if this quest still exists or if maybe was just for the prepatch? Because every guide tells me to do it, but i cannot find it anywhere, not at my class trainer and not from any other class trainer (would have been really weird if so)d

EDIT: The attached video on this quest is actually for "The Dark Portal" the quest you can get now, so i assume that "Eastern Plaguelands" was just available during Pre-Patch, also considering that all posts here that say it is available for boosted chars are pre release

All able bodied members of the Horde are hereby ordered to report to Leonid Barthalomew at Light's Hope Chapel. The Argent Dawn has reinforced its presence in the Plaguelands and it needs your help to consolidate its victories. Visit Zeppelin Master Frezza outside the city's main gate and travel to the Undercity. From there, make your way to Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands. Destiny calls!
