The tablet is not in the instance, it is just outside the instance.

Enter the Uldaman caves as though you are heading toward the instance. Keep following the path, you should run off a small ledge and through a tunnel. Continue following the path until you get to a much higher ledge overlooking the instance entrance. Don't jump off the ledge! Ignore the instance entrance, keep following the path round to the left, almost immediately you will come to a kind of fork, keep to the left. You will shortly come across an entrance on your right to a room full of troggs, ignore this room, stay left, keep going. Next on your right you should see a big corded off room that is set slightly lower than the path and is full of dwarves, this is the room! (if you accidentally miss this and go too far don't worry you will get to a dead end almost straight away) The room is full of various Elites who will aggro each other easily, so if you plan to solo this then plan to fight 2-4 Elites at once :) The tablet is inside that big chest (ark-like thing) in the middle of the room.

I soloed this with a lvl44 mage, I died in the main room but I ressed just behind the chest without aggroing anything, grabbed the tablet and teleported outta there! Good luck!

This tablet is now much easier to get for anyone over the level of 34-35. The mobs outside of Uldaman are no longer elite, just be prepared for multiple mobs on some pulls :).

Soloed at 34 as rogue... Advice - start clearing at the dark iron dwarves - troggs crossing, or You'll be overkilled by 5+ mobs

I finally found it, but The Sealed Hall is pretty far from Dig One. In fact, it's on the opposite side of the dungeon. The coordinates I copied were 39,18. That's on the Badlands map.

the EXACT coordinates are 39,19 on the Uldaman minimap. I can also confirm that it is in the Sealed Hall.

Here's how I'd describe finding it:

You enter Uldaman (main entrance). You make your way toward where you can first see the instance (you're up on a high path and you have the choice there of just simply dropping down to the lower area and running into the instance -- pretty much everyone I see does that).

Now, you don't drop down, you follow the path you're on and then you come to a fork really soon. Keep right and you go to the room where the instance is. Go left instead. There are dwarves here, so fight them. Then there are a few choices. The room on the most right of this (which looks most like a room on the minimap because it's a different color than the mined out areas) is guarded by Troggs. That's for Reclaimed Treasure, not for this quest. The room to the left of that, which is a mined-out room so not a different color on your mini-map, is the room you want. More dwarves, kill kill kill, and presto you see what that picture up above shows. Tadaa.

ok wow! what a mess of info lets get some good stuff up here to help people out already.

here are links to screenshots and the info to go with, pardon the arrow directions on minimap and times on the screenshots as i took the screenshots on the way out after i was already done.

i found my locs didnt change or update as i was inside so locs werent helping what so ever, so here is pics of the area and our position on mini map is shown. you want to jump down and go in that tunnel im looking at here.

keep on goin in, you will see the instance entrance that most people jump down from the ledge too... dont jump down! its not inside, its out in dig one.

scoot on down clear your way, first right youll see the trogg stonevault guys, ignore them! ya dont need to kill em or head that way, clear on up the hall. *see position on minimap*

its the first right past the stonevault one, in the sealed hall. tadaaa! clear up around and all the big baddies, open the chest and get your tablet of ryun'eh!

LISTEN TO THIS BEFORE DOING THE QUEST THE HARD WAY!:

You can just run in, and heal or bubble/whatnot, use a speed potion, and get to the chest. the things will probably kill you if your doing it at the min level (which i am, im level 37 presently). Once they kill you, just walk back from the close by graveyard, and position yourself just right behind the chest so that they cant see you. Rez, and then open the chest, take the tablet, and spirit heal. I finished up this quest in about five minutes. Easy.

Just completed it as a 42 warrior. Take off your equipment and die near where the ancient chest is. Rez and stand on the pot just beside the ancient chest. Loot it, die, and /cheer.

Many of u guys had problem to turn in the Q... U will go to 51.76 in Badlands to turn it in...

It's in the bottom of Badlands if u go in a stight line north from the entrice to Loch Modan!

tryed to do it with a 70, cleared all the uldman instance... then i understood that its outside of instance, not inside...

For those of you are are lucky enough to have stealth, here's how you do this quest.

Walk into Uldaman in stealth and proceed towards the instance. Take a left before the drop, then left again followed by an immediate right into the room.

Walk straight into the pit, up to left of the big box (there are 2 guys on the right).

Position yourself so you are as far away from everyone as possible (time it so there is no one nearby), and open the box.

Despite the massive amount of noise the thing makes you shouldn't agro anyone.

Grab the loot and walk back out.

Soloed as 42 Druid, never fought anyone in all of Uldaman. Just take your time and be cautious.

I have read all the comments and I haven't seen anyone say it as plain as this....THE TABLET IS NOT INSIDE THE ACTUAL INSTANCE.
Coords won't do you any good since many UI mods don't display coords inside dungeons and surrounding areas very accurately.

When you enter the dig sight of Uldaman coming from the summoning stone you take the usual path like you are going to enter the instance. But, instead of jumping off cliff as shortcut to instance entrance....keep going down hill on the path...take a left and its the SouthEast room called the Sealed Hall. There is NO GREEN TILE in this room. The tablet is large and in a dig hole ,it will of course be sparkling as most quest items due. Also it will be surrounded by dwarf mobs so be prepared.

NOT LOCATED IN ACTUAL INSTANCE!

Just a quick note for Mages.

This quest is pretty easy if you find the right room. On the mini-map, it's the room at the lower-center after you take all the lefts at Dig-one.

Three mobs on left of room, and 3 on right (including Stone Golem). Ignore the right mobs. Left mobs - Mana Shield - Sheep caster - wait for other two to run up to attack - Nova Frost to hold them in place - loot - and run. Since you are not inside the Instance - mobs don't follow very far.

Worked for me at lvl 41.

i done this lvl 49, couse this q was green long ago. it was easy, because im a druid and stealthed all the way, killed no one, but at the end got 625 exp and no honour with cities at all, i just can say that this q s***

This quest has frustrated me for a while. While I appreciate the effort, none of the comments here were that helpful. I'll try to be more precise.

The main area right in front of the instance is Dig One. To the south of it is the South Common Hall. The only thing in this hall was a small chest at the back that wasn't for a quest I had.

South of the South Common Hall and Dig one is another trogg filled area called the North Common Hall (YES! The North Hall is South of the South Hall) that has chest for the "Reclaimed Treasures" quest.

The tablet is actually North East of this area. It is the most South Eastern room on the map called "The Sealed Hall." It does look like a big coffin in the middle of a depression in the room.

Hitting the Map in Uldaman lets you look at the Badlands so it isn't very helpful, but my Cosmos loc was X:40, Y:18. Hopefully someone else who was as frustrated as I was will find this helpful. =)

Return the quest to Theldurin the Lost at 51, 76 in the Badlands. He stands at the base of the hill next to a broken down cart in the area called Agmond's End in the Southern part of the Badlands down by the mountains on the map.

enter the caves from the outside.
Follow always the LEFT choices.
Tablet is inside an ANCIENT CHEST, at 53,61.

if you're a rogue or druid, just stealth in, stand between the box and the pillar, facing the box, you'll have two diggers on your left, and a surveyor on your right above. you can take the box that way without aggroing anything, I was lvl 41. for some reason it seems the diggers have a smaller aggro range.

Actually it's inside the front entrance to Uldaman (not the instance, but the area where the Dwarves are guarding). It's south of the main chamber, next to the Northern Dining Hall. You'll see a large "Ancient Chest" which is clickable in the center of the room.

If you use the coords given by Atrapost you'll find yourself in the middle of the desert with no chest in sight.

As you enter the mines grind your way through the tunnels until you get to a t intersection at the Dig One site one (This is where the entrance to the instance is but dont go in the instance). Turn left at this intersection and keep heading left until you come to the last t interestion. There is a small dead end room to the left and a large dead end room to the right. Turn right and the ancient chest is in the middle of this room.

whoever said the tablet is in the room of troggs is wrong, its in the dead-end room on the left, in the direct centre of the entire room, however cosmos co-ords are correct, 54-58

Theldurin the Lost is almost directly south of Uldaman, at the bottom wall of the badlands. For a more precise picture, check the maps on this site.

At lvl 44, got 3150 exp for turning this in, no rep adjustment (quest green).

I see the beautiful green posts. But it is so obvious. You just need to clear everything out side the instance. Obvious enough right that both quest, two quests in total, are outside the instance around the instance portal, the entrance to the instance...you do not even need to read anything more. If you read the quest properly you will find it. All about the reading. :)

Did it with a 42 level BM hunter. Here's the story

1.Fight your way towards the entrance (or stealth) of Uldaman itself.

2. Don't jump towards the instance, walk down to your left take first tunnel on the left .

3.If you gonna take right there you will see the troggs and in the square room at the tunnel you find the medium size chest for
:Reclaimed Treasures

4. If you gonna take the little ramp in front you ,that will take you to the chamber with the big chest and u complete:

Honestly I found most of the comments here somewhat verbose and confusing for this quest. You can do this quest and the Reclaimed Treasures (Garrett family) quest at the same time. These quests are completed outside the instance.

Enter the outer area of Uldaman (entering from Badlands, north of Angor Fortress) and follow the tunnel to Dig One. When you are facing the instance portal from the center of the room, the tablet will be in a room at your 4 to 5 o'clock position. Kill Dwarves only (not Troggs) and it'll lead you to a room where there is a sarcophagus-looking thing, that's what you need.

For Reclaimed Treasures, when facing the instance portal go to the room at your 8 o'clock position. You'll kill Troggs until you see a room with a chequer board floor, the chest is a small footlocker at the back right corner of the room (when facing into the room from the tunnel).
