Each of the races has a seperate NPC that gives this quest. The NPC is usually located near the tailoring trainers in the race's capital. Turning in the quest to that race's NPC also gives you a significant amount of reputation for that race.

To be clear, the reward for turning in the wool is a reputation bump and a small xp bonus. No stuff.

There are 2 opportunities to donate cloth in Ironforge. The afore mentioned Bubulo Acerbus in Tinker Town (74,47) and Mistina Steelshield by the forge. (43,32) Points are awarded for both instances.

this q is great....on my server it gives 1000rep and 9799 xp :) so is a huge boost especialy if you are a small lvl :)

how many times are you able to complete this quest? i got it at level 13 and i have over 200+ wool in the bank..... just curious

just go through Deadmines and kill cuz they drop lots of wool in there :] i've done this quest for Ironforge but not Darnassus lmao, it was quite easy :]

This is the first time in my 9 toons that I'm turning in at all the cities for the xp on my twink since I had a ton of cloth. Unfortunately I was only able to turn in to the two npc's in IF and the one in SW and I'm at Darnassus now and he doesn't have the quest available.

Is there a limit to the number of NPC's you can turn into now too?

I'm sure it's not based on the 10 rep based turnin's a day because I've only done 6 turn-ins so far and it never mentioned anything about having a number of rep-based turn-ins remaining.

Bout to head over to exodar but I thought I'd post to see if anyone knows anything about this. (even though no-one will prolly read this post for at least a month LOL)

i belive this is a repeatable quest for rep not sure where u hand it in but u shud be able to do as many times as u like

i see a lot of people adding the coordinates of a particular item within the comments section. is there an application that needs to be added in order to have these coordinates appear on my computer or is there some trick to it all?

Human Warrior lvl 12

Handed it in to IF because I want a ram, it is NOT a repeatable quest... for wool anyway. I know you can donate other types, and maybe you could try another city, but, I have no option to turn another set in.

650 XP 385 IF rep (human, mind you)

I've done this a few times with both wool and silk at both IF and SW. You can do it more than once i belive, because the exclamation point over their head is still there only greyed out, and i swear i've donated wool to IF twice already, i just don't know how long it is before you can do it again.

I think you may have to finish all 4 (Wool, Silk, Mageweave, and Runecloth) turn in's before they are repeatable.. these quests used to be immediately repeatable when they came out, i know as i used to use them, but it doesn't seem to work that way anymore...

Got the quest at lvl 12. 650XP and 350 rep. Same on all cities.

Word to the wise, you get 110 experience and a very slight reputation increase, not worth it at all IMHO. There are much easier ways to increase your reputation.

If you are wondering who the NPC for this quest is, her name is Mistina Steelshield and she's standing right outside the tailor shop @ 43,32 in the Great Forge.

These donation quests are VERY much worth it, XP-wise, if you do them the level they come available. Hitting all 4 faction donation quests will net you aboout 1/3 of a level.

I would not mind this quest, because I can choose between:

Use my Wool Cloth (x60) and get around 200-300exp and slight reputation inc.

OR

Use my Wool Cloth (x60) and make 30 Heavy Wool Bandages, or some tailoring cloths then sell them or use them and get more money/more armor..

You choose..

At level 17 I received 1050xp and 150 Rep with Ironforge.

Is this worthless doing? Or should i just give my Wool to them or i could give it to a real person who could use it, who should i choose...

If anyone else is stumped like I was after doing all of the Donation of Wool/Silk quests and not seeing the subsequent ones pop up for Mageweave etc: they pop up at 40 for Mageweave donations.
