I'm guessing that the quest you picked up is the initial 'quest' you get to go to Ravenholdt Manor, where you have to 'prove' yourself (either by using detect traps in the cave or vanishing from the mob if you open the chest). That quest leads to the syndicate badges that allow you to gain friendly faction with Ravenholdt. This quest is different, and can only be picked up when you are lvl 50 (as is stated above). The rogue trainer(s) have a grey ! for me at lvl 47.

ok im a lvl 52 rogue and i went to the guy in IF to get this quest but i couldnt pick it up, like there was no quest there to be done? is there something i have missed? im a human do i need to go to SW?

In case it was unclear, this is a rogue only quest. No other classes can pick it up.

This quest can be picked up for Horde from Miles Dexter, the Rogue Trainer in the Undercity (85,72).

Just grabbed it alliance side, any Rogue trainer, my rogue is human but I got it from the one downstairs in IF. About to go start it.

im a night elf rogue i grabbed it down stairs in IF at rogue trainers. maybe this quest has something to do with that absolutelly useless quest i had to do at a lower level pickpocketing?

Save your Syndicate Emblems (by pick pocketing for them) and turn them in there.

Got the quest in UC, and found him at 84,17 in a little castle northwest of Dunrholde Keep. Not easy to find the road to up there.

After completing he gave me a new quest, Sealed Azure Bag. Good luck!

Level 53 rogue. I got the quest from S1:7 then went to Lord Jorach but he wont speak to me. So I abandoned quest but nothing happens Jorach wont give me new quest. Then I got the quest from IF and then went back Jorach still wont speak to me. So I abandond again but no luck. Can someone help me. The GM says the quest is working but I cant get it to work for me.

Go southeast from Ravenholdt into Durnholde Keep and pickpocket all the syndicate members in there. You need to get 30, turn them all into a Ravenholdt guard for 100 rep per emblem. 30 gets you to friendly.

For those of you without cor addon:

Follow a path against the hills to the left of the entrance to the Hinterlands. Just like it says in the quest, NW of Durnholde Keep. If you hit the river, you've gone too far.

Ok the past is at 76.3,20.6

its the same path as the second rogue quest. where you have to fight that elite when you open the chest in the cave. follow the path through the cave and you will get to the house mansion or what ever

Path indeed starts at 75,23 and from there its just following the path up, go through the cave and your there :)

i got this quest from the dwarf in the IF rogue trainer house, downstairs, im lvl 50 : /
so you dont get it of a specific trainer, maybe you only get it from the lvl 60 trainer from one of the capital cities?

This quest does not exist in the new wow classic. Talked with GMs, other rogues... the quest is on my guide and the quest is on my addon, but the quest does NOT exist. You dont need to be a certain level. There are no prerequisites you are missing. It does NOT exist. Happy hunting. I checked both rogue trainers in UC and Org too.

UPDATE: looks like these quests will now be available as of 5pm central US time February 12th 2020 when BWL is released.
