Dropped exclusively from the Terrorfiends in the Pools of Aggonar, they have a 14.5% drop rate so be prepared to kill quite a few. The further north you go into the pools, the more fiends there are. The highest concentration is around the big stage thing at the end to either side of it.

Just a little note on killing these guys: When you see them start to cast "Fel Flames", turn tail and run. It's a cone breath attack that deals 300+ damage per second for 3 seconds and it hurts if you get caught in it. He will rotate to keep the attack on you, but otherwise they remain stationary while casting. It has a 1.5 or 2 second cast, so if you have the enemy casting bar on, you'll have plenty of warning to run out of range and avoid the damage.

I stuck to the western edge of the canyon there, and got to the end. I set up camp around 38,31 and you can just wait for 'em to spawn without those damn oozes bugging you too much.

Map of the route I took. It drops you out right behind Thrallmar where you can turn in Cruel's Intentions. Lots of Terrorfiend spawns, and very few annoying oozes.

These guys are big pushovers. Only powerful attack they have is Fel Fire which isn't all that great.

Drop rate is low but not really that bad. At 63 about 1000 rested xp per demon so I'll take what I can get.

Watch out for the fel flames ability, it hits for almost 500 initially and then ticks for around 200 every second. Interrupt it if you're able (it appears to be channeled, I recall interrupting it after it had casted). Also be weary of the slimes as their debuff is magic, stacks (a mere 25 each at most but it adds up if you're doing this at low level or as a caster with low hp), and lasts for a minute, so unless you can dispel you won't have the fear+bandage option for that minute.

Other than those things, this was cake as a 63 fury warrior. Saw a 61 shadow priest soloing the demons without any trouble as well.

I got my 5 first as 100%, the last 1 tok me allmost 50 kills to get, what i liek to call bad luck.

The drop rate on these seems pretty inconsistant. I got my first one pretty easy, but it took me forever to get the second one. That's when I hopped over here to see if I was doing something wrong. At the end, I had a 24% drop rate. I guess some have been more lucky.

As mentioned before, these things are located at the pools of aggonar. I would HIGHLY suggest that you go to the back of the pools, around location 40, 30 to do this quest. You'll find a lot more terrorfiends, and a lot less slime things. If your a lock, don't forget your sense demons spell. It will actually come in handy here (I ususally forget about the spell since I never use it).

Make sure you have the Arelion's Journal quest when you come to do this one. You do that one in this area as well.

The Assassin, In Need of Felblood, Arelion's Journal, and Trueflight Arrows

Get The Assassin quest from Nazgrel in Thrallmar (55,37)
Pick up In Need of Felblood, Arelion's Journal, and Trueflight Arrows in Falcon Watch (26,61)

1 - Head north out of Falcon Watch and then slightly east to find a dead fel orc at the very edge of a mountainous divider.(32,44)The fel orc was the assassin, and you'll get another quest from him called A Strange Weapon that you'll return to Thrallmar with eventually.

2 - On the eastern side of this terrain divider are the Pools of Aggonar, this is where you'll complete Arelion's Journal and In Need of Felblood. Start a killing spree, you'll get Arelion's Journal from one of the slimes. I got it on the third kill.

3 - To complete In Need of Felblood, you kill the terrorfiends wandering around, but if you hug the terrain divider to avoid aggroing slimes you'll be able to focus completely on the terrorfiends that wander along the pools edge. Once you've collected 6 samples of blood, head on out the way you came.

4 - From the entrance of the Pools of Aggonar head south and slightly west to a big patch of carrion birds. Start another killing spree, you'll need to collect 8 feathers off these birds for Trueflight Arrows. (29,54)

When you're finished collecting the feathers for Trueflight Arrows, take a leisurely ride to Falcon Watch, turn in three quests, then go drop off your axe in Thrallmar. 4 in 1 Quests Done!

I really wouldn't call it that low of a drop rate.. actually i found it decent.. for 6 drops it took about 10 kills

For those without cosmos etc you find these guys in the Pools of Aggonar. The quest even tells you its north from falcon watch.
Drop rate was bad but they respawn enough to not run out of guys to kill and your grinding anyway so no complaints here.

Found many of them at 39,32 and there aren't many slimes around, which makes it easier.

So far I've killed 10 Terrors, and I haven't gotten a single Felblood sample. Hopefully it picks up. I was actually just checking to see if the quest was bugged. :P

To complete this quest you need to bring him 6 Felblood Samples from the Terrorfiends that inhabit the Pools of Aggonar.

So, you could visit Pools of Aggonar several times before, the area is located to the north of Falcon Watch and populated mostly by slime mobs and Terrorfiends.
Mount up and carefully move along the hills to the norther part of Pools of Aggonar, where are way more Terrorfiends. Wipe them out to collect Felblood Samples.

Northeast of here lie the Pools of Aggonar. Once a sacred site to the draenei, their waters were corrupted after the blood from the demon Aggonar was spilled into them.

That blood, though old and diluted, still possesses tremendous power. Terrorfiends now walk the area, empowered by the pure demonic energies of the original blood. Slay them and retrieve as much felblood as you can. I'll make it worth your while.
