Note that there are two types of ravager near Falcon's Watch -- the quillfang ravager and the quillfang skitterer. You do not receive credit for killing the skitterers, which is unfortunate because they outnumber the ravagers by a pretty healthy margin, and they are very fast, and very aggressive. Also, they're colored differently than the ravagers -- they're mostly blue while the ravagers are a uniform drab green.

That being the case, when you do this quest, chances are you'll have a lot of company, and all you can really do is wait for the ravagers to respawn.

While the Skitterers are pretty much useless...they do have a small purpose...I had the quest Ravager Egg roundup from Legassi at the crashed zeppelin, and I got 3 or 4 of the eggs from the skitterers.

While the Ravager egg roundup quest itself says you have to go all the way to Terokkar Forest to collect them. The drop rates from the skitterers are probably very small as far as the eggs are concerned..but still if you had both quests and if you do the ravager quest 1st, why not have a use for the skitterers, because you will end up killing a few to get to the ravagers.

I found a bunch of the Ravagers around 25,64 as well as a handful of the Hulking Helboars which are useful to kill on the side for the Demonic Contamination and the Helboar, the other White Meat quest lines.

The Ravagers are greenish and also slightly larger than the Skitterers, however, much less plentiful in numbers.

It seemed to me that the Quillfang Skitterer's and the Ravager's have a lot of armour, therefor increasing the difficulty of this quest for melee type classes. Just to point that out.

If your all squishy (like me,65 holy priest) this quest is rather difficult,seeing as there are 3 times as many Skitterers than there are Ravangers and I tend to aggro everything in sight.It took me about 30 minutes to get all 10.I found about 3 or 4 around the edge of the mountain.You can avoid the skitterers if you stay up against the little hills at the base of the mountain.

what bs. can't sap they spawn fast and have this amazing ability to dodge avoid punches. And they arent even elite. wbat bs

21,63 is where i found them they respwn perty quick so when you find them dont go in to deep or youll fight youre way back out.Just find a spot relax and wait for the respawn

10400xp at lvl61. Not bad at all! The trick is though killing all surrounding mobs first, or pulling them one by one, cause the skittering ones like running around and agro pretty easily. Even if you think you're nowhere near them, they'll run right towards you. But had no problem at all as a 61 druid, even when mobbed by the darned skitterers.

I recommend grouping up for this quest, the spawn rates are terrible.

So Honor Hold sends us to deal with the arakkoa and we set up camp here thinking hey isn't this a great spot. Little did we know how close we were to the quillfang ravagers.

They are relentless predators and have made any sort of work on our part impossible. There's a bit of coin in it for you if you can deal with them for us. Do you feel up to it?
