These huts are all in very close proximity of one another, if you found one you should be able to find them all. To burn em down just run in and right click your Living Fire. Tlocs are listed below:

Large hut - 72,50
Western hut - 70,51
Southern hut - 71,53
Eastern hut - 72,54

I only had some trouble with setting the large hut on fire. The problem was that even though i was in the right hut, i wasn't standing in the right spot. You need to be on the first floor and have to stand somewhere in the middle to be able to set the fire.

You have to stand inside the huts in order for it to work. I couldn't use the flame in the doorways.

I think "reth reth reth" means "Burn Burn Burn"...

In the German client, they say "dratir dratir dratir", which doesn't fit to "Feuer" = fire, but to "brenne/brennt" = burn (imperative, singular/plural)

If anyone is actually wondering how to start the fire , kill the npc that is INSIDE the hut then light it on fire. You can not light any of them outside.
Go figure to make it blizz to be the one that makes you set fire to a house while your still inside it. GG

Just go to windyreed village, you really don't need coords for the huts, because there are only 4!! huts in the village. lol
Just get inside each hut and use the living fire.
In large hut you must stand next to the pillar where the stairs are attached to. You don't need to be on 1st floor.

coords were dead on! Just make sure that your inside the hut when you use the flame. You can even sit at the doorway and get some health and mana if you need to while it burns! Quest took me less that 20 min. Lvl 66 Enhancement Shaman, solo. Great info!

64 Feral Druid, no problem clearing the mobs but I keep getting a "You have no target." message no matter where I stand in or around the buildings.

the last big hut is just impossible!

i cant find anywhere inside of it where i can use the living fire... where on earth do i have to stand to use it?

Very fun and easy Quest, as lvl 64 Rogue (Subtlety).
I did all hut by saping them and burn the huts, in the Large i had to kill 1 and sap the other, u must stay in the "MIDDLE" of the hut to set it on fire ;)

The fire item you get for this quest can actually be used in combat, and it functions just like a player spell: it isn't interrupted on damage but rather just gets spell pushback. I did this quest in about 1 minute without having to kill any mobs.

No matter where I go or where I stand in any of the huts all I get is "No Target"... F#$@!!!!!!!!!!! Common bliz fix this already!

68 resto drood.

Just used flight form, flew near buildings, went cat and stealthed in, killed the dude, and burned the place. For the real big tower you have to be on the bottom floor - I tried to burn it while on the steps and it said 'target not in line of sight'

All at south-east Nagrand. The guys there net you and run to a distance that you can't attack them at to attack you which gets pretty annoying when you're fighting 2 at once.

I just ran into each hut, activated the fire, and just waited it out. The guards hitting you does NOT break the action of setting the fire--it just delays it--so give it time for the fire to light, then run the heck out of there--using whatever slow-down tactics you might have to outrun the mobs. I did all of the huts WITHOUT killing a single thing, and I didn't die once, and this was as a 64 warrior. Higher levels should have it even easier.

There is definitly a cooldown on this q, couldn't do it for some reason, then after running around killing for about 5 mins I could do it...

Go inside the 3 small huts for East, west and south and right click on Living Fire item in your inventory. After you've done those small 3 huts, go into the large hut and do the same. There is no need to go upstairs.

You need to be pretty much in the center of the large hut. Just under the stairs will do.

really fun doing this quest as NE hunter lvl 66. Just mounted up, and set course straight into the huts, feign death, shadowmeld. Freezing trapped the guard, used the living fire, and ran out to safety and fd again. And repeat on the other huts.

Co-ords spot, only issue I had was in the large hut, i killed the mobs, ran up the stairs, tried the torch "nothing", went back down the stairs and acting on the information above I clicked torch on the main central pole on the left of the bottom of stairs and it worked.

Elementalist Lo'ap at the Throne of the Elements in Nagrand wants you to destroy the Large Hut, the Western Hut, the Southern Hut and the Eastern Hut at Windyreed Village.

Return the Living Fire to Elementalist Lo'ap when the task is complete.
