It's on the second room in the hall leading Maiden, on a table.

This Q should be done after you kill Maiden, so the room despawns later, so u don't need to clean to get to the book.

The Maiden of Virtue's room is at the end of a rather long hall. All along the north side of the hall is various small rooms. As others have said, it is in the second to last of these rooms.

My raid group killed the Maiden, but the guests (mobs) in that room were still there. 3 hours later, I went back, and the guests were still there. So, I left the dungeon and logged. The next day, I formed a raid group with my friend, and re-entered Karazhan. The room was vacant, and I could just run in and get the book. This was because once everyone from the raid ID is out of the instance for more than 30 minutes, a "soft reset" will happen, and mobs found in areas before bosses in the dungeon are eliminated.

- Enter Karazhan
- Go up stairs immediately to the right
- Go to the far right corner of the hall and up the stairs
- Go through the doorway on the right and turn right
- 2nd doorway on the left

Find a red book in the back of the room..

For the ppl who don't know where the guests chambers are

Get into the main entrance. U'll see a man in from of u. There's ladder behind him. Go upstairs. U'll get to the Great ballroom.

In the opposite wall (a bit to the right) there will be a door. Get in, u'll see another ladder. Upstairs again.

Now look at right wall. Omg, another door here. Inside!

Now u'r in long corridor. Look at minimap. There r some rooms on the northern side of corridor. U need the second one (two lions near the entrance)

Get into the room and u'll see a table in front of u. Red book is the one u need.

the book is there. i just found it at the right spot. it lays down on a little table in the second room. the pic showed rlly helped

Much easier to find since the recent patch (2.3 I think) now quest items sparkle. You can see it easily from outside the room.

Second room on the left in the gues chambers (the long hallway before Maiden of virtue).

You can not stealth hand-in this quest as there is a mob that sees through stealth on the doorway leaving the ballroom.

Quest can be completed during or after the raid has been fully cleared however you'll need to wait till the next lock out to do the next part of the quest which involves killing the last boss. You're better off collecting the book, go turn it in outside, collect the next quest, then proceed on with the raid.
