Use the rock provided by Gordawg to shatter the Shattered Rumblers. 2 to 3 Minions of Gurok will spawn. If you stay at range, they will not aggro and can be pulled individually.

At 37, 82 below Oshu'gun there are many Shattered Rumblers. The minions are level 64 with very little health and easy to kill.

Confirmed at 38, 81 the little guys are easy to take out, stand at a range of about 15-20 yards when you toss the boulder, 2-3 of them will spawn for druids and rogues, after tossing it if you did not aggro the little guys.

You will get out of combat after about 5 seconds to stealth, they're easy to take out, and all of them should be handled with little problemsi would like to recommend doing this quest with matters of security, the voidspawn quest, they spawn in the area as well, just to the north a bit.

You don't have to go that far. Just exit Telaar from the west entrance and go around the foothills below Telaar. Did my quest in about 20 minutes.

Confirm 49.71.....

Check your bags and take the Gordawg's Boulder....then use it on 1 elemental with name "Shattered Rumbler"...then kill the minions of gurok

It might look a little much with 30 kills, but they have really little hp. Also they don't aggro eachother. This will go quite fast and even faster if you got AoE. Thought I'd toss that in. :)

A tip for druids, I found it most efficient when I used the boulder on several elementals before going into cat form and killing them. This saved alot of mana as we would have to constantly shift in and out if we did it individually. There is about a 10 second cooldown on the item.

What can I say... you hardly gain any experience, whatsoever, during the quest. All you get is like 8-10 xp(this was with the rested bonus) per minon which is up to 240-300 xp in total.

Good thing the XP reward for turning it in is 17k, that kinda makes up for it.

This was loads of fun ... just make sure you do some damage to the little dudes if you have a pet. If your pet kills 'em, you don't get credit.

Made me chuckle out loud the first time I threw a boulder and shattered one of those guys into three little ones.

I want one of those little dudes as a pet.

Very easy as a 65 Frost Mage... throw rock -> frost nova -> blizzard ... done..

It is a reason why u dont get any experience from those mobs, if u did get like 100-300 exp from each of the minions u should be available to just go there and grind pretty damn fast since they die in like 3-4 hits for me as a rogue and with blade flurry it should go extremly fast or for a AoE class.

Interesting note, you can throw that boulder while running.(on 7/26/07)

Throw it at a Shattered Rumbler and 2-3 Minions of Gurok come out.

The minions have VERY little HP and give 5 exp each (lol?)

If you're a mage:

Break 3 - 5 large mobs at a time, then just pop up an ice barrier / mana shield, nova them and blizzard :)

Did this quest in about 5 minutes.

This quest is annoying to us elemental shamans. I finished this in about 10 minutes. Here's how:

First thing to note is that you can use the rock as you move. Doesn't help a lot, just a convenience, especially if another mob aggros you.

I'd run in, throw the rock, and aggro all 2-3 of the mobs. Drop stoneclaw, frostshock one for aggro.

Drop Magma totem, frostshock another one for aggro. This way, you hold aggro, save mana, and still AoE them. I killed about 14 in my first pull with my earth elemental totem and magma totem as well.

As a Shaman, immediately after you throw the rock, if you run in and drop Stoneclaw Totem, you will have just enough time to mine the Shattered Rumbler. Only for miners of course, but free mining.

Could possibly also be done with frost nova, intimidating shout, fear, etc. good luck

Easy as 66 Frost mage.
Used Gordawgs Boulder at 3 shattered elements. Ice Barrier and ran around to gather all the spawns. Frost Nova, Bliazzard and used Arcane Explosion the finsh them off.

I would like some of whatever the designer of this quest was on at the time when they thought of this.

You're asked by a big rock to throw a rock at these smaller rocks to reveal little rocks, who are minions of an evil big rock.

Ok... to sum: I followed the 49, 72 coords and as I followed them around the back of Telaar I had about 26 minions down. The rest I found around the 59, 80 coords. Pretty quick really. Each minion is 64 or 65 and has about 2400 hp and hit like sissies. 2 or 3 spawn with each rumbler.

Haha,, so easy,, Didnt got any hit during the quest. Just the mounatin behind Telaar,, there was alot of them. I wish i cold have stone like that that works on Orcs :D

this quest was retardedly easy as a lock. im not bragging or anything.

throw rock at shattered, then dot all the il guys with life tap, curse of agony and curruption. by the time your done casting on the last guy the first one (or first two) are allready dead (i was using the FelDog =D)

motered through this. now if the damm nestingway quests in the same reagon were only this easy.... (they are easy but its such a long grind for them)

i found them between 60,83 and 63,83.. previous poster's spot is probably the intended one, as mine is by no means SW of qgiver. (though mine is slightly closer.)

Take that you got from the quest and use it on the big rocks guys. They spawn 1-3 minions.

Simple enough, if you have a bit of patience. There's usually 2 or 3 Shattered Rumblers on the hillside just beyond the bridge. Take them out one at a time, take a Darkmoon break on the bridge, chat with the guards for a bit, then back to it! I took care of this quest in about 20 minutes as a 67 hunter with a 60 pet.

Even got a few earth motes out of the deal!

49, 72 confirmed. easy as pie. Throw Goredawg's boulder at them, then kill the minions.

All the Shatterer Rumblers need to be transformed into little Minions(2 or 3 each) with the quest item : Gordawg's Boulder

the thing has 10 sec cooldown so you can throw it to multiple rumblers around you so it makes more to AOE when you're a mage or any aoe type.

Loc 28.69 and around that

Very simple and they are easy to kill.

if you split them you can pull them one by one by using range weapon, that way you dont have to fight them all at once...although they are fairly easy to kill.

massively easy quest.

just throw the rock, they break into little minions, only lvl's 63-65. Usually groups of 2-3.

dont need a group for this. but having 1 other person can make it go faster.

35,83 area confirmed. Throw the rock questgiver gave you breaks Shattered rumbler into minion 2-3 of em... There health about 2500 easy by yourself
Kinda fun too , No add on goto Osh'gun South behind it all the way to the end of the zone like you were leaving

Easy enough quest, throw the boulder at the shattered rumbler, the rumbler crumbles and out comes 2 or 3 minions. If you stay far enough away you will leave combat, but is not necessary they are level 65's with about 2100 - 2500 HP and hit for about 50 -70 each

On the other spots posted I could only find like 2 or 3 Shattered Rumblers. The better spot for me was 50,71, which is directly west outside of Telaar and than go south along the mountain side, upto 52,79 which is just south of the back entrance of the inn in Telaar. Loads of those Shattered Rumblers

WOW I wish I would have read the bottom of this post would have saved me time. LOL Forget all the location bull, You are looking for Shatted Rumbler's that can be found anywhere on the outer edge and mountains of the Oshu'Gun region. Simply throw the Gordawg's Boulder at one and kill the minions that come out! Someone should really get ride of the first few posts here.

You are granted a piece of the fury of the earth. Take the boulder of Gordawg and hurl it at the poison rock. Shatter their shells to discover the truth. Destroy the minions of the usurper and return to Gordawg with the name.

You find the shattered elements at the edge of the world. Southwest.
