Tusker is on the bluff to the Northeast of Oshu'gun(the bluff is actually visable on your map). Was able to trio this with three level 66's, though it is likely duoable with two level 68's as the quest log says. She was not snarable or rootable.

I did all the quests a long time ago. But I never got the quest to kill her!?! I go to Safari and the npc's have nothing. As a Holy pally the flash of light Libram is something I could really use and its out of reach. Bummer...

Peh - I'll do it for the XP and cash (and excuse to kill and skin a lot of critters) but the final rewards are just vendor bait for me as a feral cat druid. : /

Loc is 44,65.

67 warrior and I (65 priest) able to do it.

his first hit was 2163 after that it was between 900 and 1500. Not fun.

After many wipes with me 66 hunter and a 66 lock, we tried a new strategy. We cleared a path down the hill and killed all the Bulls in the way. Then I kited Tusker to Telaar, where the guards finished it off.

The lock was dotting all the way, and i used arcane shot and serpent sting with aspect of cheetah. Tusker moves reasonably slow so I had to stop a couple of times to let it catch up.

Although I had help from a lock, I believe this would be easy solo (for a hunter), as the guards in Telaar made short work of the kill.

17k XP and a shiny new Gun. Shame I use bows. Gonna have to level gun skill from 1/330 sharpish, as this is better DPS and crit than my Grand Marshal Bow.

Killed by 66 BM spec hunter and 66 frost mage.

He's not as easy to kite as people say he is. I guess in cheetah mode you probably can, but eh.. I don't like fighting like that. We tried the DPS route and wiped with him at 1/2 health.

2nd try we healed pet and rez'd pet once 1/2 way through and it was fine.

Great.. now I have a Gun with gun skill level of 1. I'll probably just sell it.

Solo'd this as a level 67 holy pally. Just bring along two or three mana pots and be sure your LoH ain't on cooldown, and use all your trinkets/ablilties/pots at the beginning already so that you they're availible again later in the fight. Used Seal of Vengeance and Consecration mainly, and Divine Shield + HoW/Holy Shock to finish him off, took me around one and a half minute.

Tusker is at 44,65. Just clear the area to the road before trying to attempt to kite Tusker. Watch out for the patrols. I started out by laying down a Immolation trap, also go to Aspect of Cheetah. Then started out with a Serpent Sting, then started running to the road to Telar. Just shoot Tusher every few seconds, I counted to 6 then did another Serpent Sting shot. Kited Tusker to the bridge to Telar. Once there the guards helped out killing Tusker. 17,800 xp for turn in

Just solo'd it with my 65 lock. Like the guy said enslave a Legionaire from the nearest camp and it can kick just about anyone's ass. Used one for all the mastery quests and Tusker- it was so easy a caveman could do it =O

You don't need a tank if you have someone to heal and another to kite. We used a 56 priest, 57 mage and 57 hunter and did fine. Just be sure to clear the mobs from around the hill.

For others, this is the last quest after completing Hemit Nesingwary's "Mastery" quests in Nagrand.

Did it with a lvl 67 paladin together. I'm lvl 66 affliction talented lock. Void tank, pala heal, lock dps. Easy:D

For ahaman it is not possible to slow it with frost shock or earthbind totem. Hope this saves some lives haha.

Soloable as 64 mage. Just Fireblast and blink all the way to telaar whilst kiting him. The guards will do the rest ^^

really long quest chains to get here but for me (resto shaman) the totem was worth it. Plus I got about 40% of my level (from 64 to 65) just doing one chain!

it is soloable quest by warlocks. if u are a warlock, first enslave a elite felguard from 19,53 then run to 44,66. u have 2,5 minute to kill tusker. u will kill it in 1 min with elite felguard. gl

Well, if there ever was a hunter quest chain this is it.
So somebody tell me why there are 6 Blue Rewards and only 1 of them is usable by Hunters LOL

People say that Hunters use any weapon but seriously, a Wand, Totem, Libram, Brooch, A Throwing Axe? who seriously needs a blue throwing axe, and a gun <sigh> The rewards for the Nesingway quest chain in STV were much better.
I had the Master Hunter Bow till I got to Hellfire at lvl 60.

My two cents...

Lol, was easy to solo as lvl 66 warlock. Enslave a deamon, and have it attack Tusker. Follow mhfindik's coords for enslavement :)

FYI: it says prereq is Windroc Mastery, just completed it and no quest given. I'm guessing the prereq is all the masteries quests (A real pain in the ars for a holy pali). :-(

No big beef, but why can't there be more bows as rewards? Guns can be engineered, and bows are usually drops or the all-too-few quest rewards. Waaaah.

Am I the only one who noticed that the guy says that she is "on a huge bluff far to the northeast", but somehow overlooking Oshu'gun. The bluff is to the SOUTHWEST from Nesingwary.

You're right to be fearful of that name. Bach'lor, Gutripper, and Banthar are nothing when compared to her. It is said that she can be found on a huge bluff far to the southwest overlooking Oshu'gun. Bring me her massive heart if you dare.
