Note, there are four different "Membership Benefits" quest entries on Wowhead. These are all the same quest, the only difference is the rewards given. These are related to your reputation level with the consortium. You receive a sack of gems that increases in value and number with each higher rep level.

Where is this quest obtained? And can you accept the quest each time your rep dings with the Consortium?

At exalted i got 2x Living Ruby and 1x Star of Elune along with 2 green gems.

Note that, if for example you are revered with The Contortium when the bags reset (1st of every month), and then hit exalted during the month, you will get an exalted bag for that month if you have not yet picked it up.

Really wish the comments for these 4 quests were combined.

Anyways, I wrapped my last run through normal mana tombs to complete friendly, turned in the two quests outside and reached honored. This was at 11:50pm last night on Aug 31st. Hearthed to Shattrath, took FP to Nagrand (alliance) and ran over to Gezhe and turned in this quest for the honored bag. It was 12:01am Sept 1st according to game time. East coast server. I really should have rushed more and got there before midnight, but in my head I was thinking that the reset would not occur at exactly midnight, but maybe 3am like the dailies. I left my toon there overnight and was hoping that in the morning I could confirm that there was going to be a quest available for me to pick up later in the month after I reached revered or exalted.

Logged in this morning at 9:45am and there was no new quest available. This made me very sad. I checked back at around 12:15pm, still nothing. I asked in general if anyone knew when the reset was, and the only answer I got was that it was at 11am, which must be wrong, because there was still no quest available.

So as far as I can tell, the monthly reset for this occurs actually at midnight server time. I will check back again next month before midnight to confirm. If anyone else can confirm or give any input on this, would be much appreciated.
