Killed over 150 ogres now, still no key that dropped.

Killed six and and picked it up. It dropped for me off the cursher behind the hut across form where you pick up the quest. If you can do The Ruins of Burning Blade at the same time lets you do 2 quests at once. I continued to kill the ogres cause they are squishy and drop Netherweave and i got 3 more keys in 5 mins.

Make sure to check your keyring for the drop. I killed like 200 ogres before I realized it was in there.

Can Corki have any relations to the TV Show "Life Goes On"? I'm just curious because Blizzard implements these things all throughout Burning Crusade and it bothers the crap out of me when i don't know.

In that show, "Corky" was a kid with Down Syndrome...? Never actually seen the show but my wife and I did the quest recently and she is curious too.

This quest is Very easy i killed off the first 2 by his cage and got the first part of quest HELP! So i went to the next 2 Ogres by the Campfire and Killed htem ate level 64 and it dropped right away

You can bug him and get him out of his cage with a Horde character attacking him. He'll run out of his cage, follow the Horde character until he gets tired and run back, however, he won't be able to enter his cage, so he'll be standing outside.

I'm not sure you'll get the quest completed, though. I just found this out by accident with my blood elf priest.

The key did not drop for me until after I talked to Corki first and accepted the quest. Then I got the drop on the third kill. . .that was after about 100 or so!! D'oh!

Dropped for me after killing a Boulderfist Ogre, I think it is a random drop off the mobs here.

For those looking for Arechron (turn in guy), don't be stupid like me and try jumping off the cliff trying to get to him. He is in the town just on the other side of a walk though building.

atleast today, and atleast on Silvermoon-EU this quest is more or less bugged.

You can get the quest, and you can loot the key. But the cage/prison is bugged and is standing open and therefor you cant open it and free this stupid.. thingie. ^^

I think i was either killing the wrong mobs or WoW hates me? i killed like abazillion of the orges in the same area as Corki, i finally got pissed and just left... now im tryin a new spot and no luck :(

I've been through all of the Corki quests with a couple friends lvl67-68, but at lvl64 the keys won't drop for me. It seems like if I can make it in there alive to where Corki is, then I should be allowed to pick up the quest. >_> Also the Ogres in the area North of Halaa are on ~30 sec respawn timers, so be ready to do some fighting.

Don't provoke Corki. You can't attack him through the cage but if you come close with a weapon raised he'll simply WALK OUT of it and start attacking you. He doesn't by any means hit hard but he has more health than a mountain gronn, long and annoying fight during witch you might aggro ogres and at the end you won't get XP or loot, so just don't provoke him.

If you're grinding these ogres for another quest and loot quickly, you may not notice that when looted, this key will end up in your keyring, not in your backpack. I must have killed an extra 20 ogres before I checked my keyring. At least I got some xp and rep...

my advice start series of Corki quests, last reward is really nice ^^
p.s Corki's cage is on 72,70 & key drop from random Boulderfist Ogres usually after 5 or 6 kills

I killed about 50 ogres with no drop where it usually drops after 4 or 5 in my experience. I know its RNG and I might have just been unlucky but I dropped the quest, took it again, and had the drop in 3 kills.

For those of you who are wondering how to start this (like if you are grinding rep and have returned to the area), There's no breadcrumb to get the quest. He's located in a cage in the outskirts of Burning Blade Ruins. As stated elsewhere, click him, not the cage to pick up the quest.
