Corki is found at the back of a cave. His location is (30, 26). The entrance to the cave is at (27, 23).

This quest is soloable by higher levels. You can either stealth in to Corki or work your way in. Next to Corki is Warmaul Chef Bufferlo (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=18440#00Rzc), a level 66 elite who isn't too difficult.

The next step of this quest (Cho'war the Pillager) involves killing an elite who is significantly more difficult.

requires "northwind cleft key" that drops on oger's in that location.

When we were leveling our hunters we got this quest.
Now as we level druids we don't have it. I'm 69 and my partner is 65 and he doesn't have it either.

I had thought it began with the northwind cleft key, but I was told it is in the same ogre camp as the blademaster ( close to the entrance to terrokar)
I haven't gone in with my druid yet, but I can see corki in the cage from the road. Tonight we'll try there and see if we pick up a key.

Someone asked me today about this, so I suppose I'm not the only one who's missed it.

As a 67 Rogue, i could easily stealth in, sap the elite, get the next part of the quest and stealth away.

Id imagine classes without CC can probably talk to the guy, take the quest and die/run.

easily soloed as a 65 paladin
hammer of justice, talk, run

also works on freeing corki in next quest
hammer of justice = 6sec stun
opening cage = 5sec cast

This quest is probably one of the easiest kill-and-talk quests out there. The elite hit me(65 balance druid) for less than the non-elite warlocks's shadowbolts. Simply pop a damage trinket, treants and just spam wrath.
Killed him before my treants despawned, very easy and I were still at 60% when he hit the ground.

Soloed the quest with my 66 hunter...AND killed the chief. It wasn't what i planned (freeze trap), but it worked for me!

Soloable by level 68 Warlock. Pulled all the adds surrounding Warmaul Chef Bufferlo, then used the Voidwalker to tank and dotted/feared the Chef once the Voidwalker agro was totally surpassed. He didn't run into any adds back in the cave, but I could see it happening.

There are 2 caves in this area, Corki is in the southern cave mid-way up the hill, after talking to him you have to go to the north cave to kill Cho'war the Pillager to recieve the key to free Corki, good luck!

One of the warriors drop it on the way down to Corki's prison. Corki is at the end of the cave. Pretty easy run through with a Lv. 64 Warrior.

Corki is at 29,26 gives you the quest Cho'war the Pillager.
Cho'war is at 24,14 and dropps the key.

You need to do the prerequisite first, which means going and rescuing Corky for the first time.

Just a heads up druids, he is not stunnable. Pounce, bash and maim all had no effect on him, raised the difficulty, I could not solo him at 69.

I got co-ords but they don't really help when u are dealing with caves....where IS he? whats he next to, and so on?

You fight to Corki first, to get the quest. He is guarded by a 66 elite. Then you go to the other cave to find Cho'war.

The Coords are correct, you have to fight through the back (northern most) cave and go all the way to the top. There you will find Cho'war (level 67 elite). He is a tank and spank type, but he hits hard. I couldn't do it as a 65 hunter, but got him with a buddy tanking him.

Once I'd spoken to corki in the first cave (entrance 28,23 - had to kill a big chef ogre next to him that was a fair bit tougher than the normal ones.), I went in to the north one (entrance 27,18). That cave goes through the mountains and leads on to another cave (entrance 26,11) where the big guy is. Didn't quite manage to solo him as a lvl 70 hunter. Came close but just a bit too tough. Tried it again with a priest healing and that made a huge difference. I don't think it would be too difficult for thee lvl 67s which is the what I think the quest is aimed at.

I Killed Cho'war 3 times before I realized that I had not talked to Corki.

THE KEY DOES NOT DROP IF YOU HAVENT TALKED TO CORKI IN THE CAVE.

This is an easy mistake to make, especially if you are in a group. Just talk to Corki in the middle cave (on warmaul hill) then kill Cho'war in the northernmost cave, then return to the middle cave to free the blessed simpleton.

I just received this letter. It's from a clan of ogres known as Warmaul that rule the northwestern lands of Nagrand. It says that they have Corki and if we don't cooperate, they're going to eat him. Admittedly, Corki is a moron, but he's still my blood. Will you rescue him, <name>?

I presume that he's locked up in a cage somewhere on Warmaul Hill. That should be your first stop.
