I have no idea, why the questlog say, it's recommended for 3 players. Maybe, because you can't solo the following quest(s), bur this one is easy. You just have to sit on the dragon and lean back. After a while, you land back at Altruis and the quest is solved.

If you were on a mount, when you took the quest, you can't complete it. Just remove it from your log and get it again, standing on your feet.

I soloed this part, as all you do is fly around the Forge Camps, and then accepted the next quest. Then you just wait till you find a group to handle the rest.

You can't be mounted when you take on this quest. If you are, nothing will happen. Dismount, abandon the quest and get the quest again. Soon as you accept the quest, you take off on the dragon.

Confirmed. This is an easy 3050xp where you just ride the netherdrake. It's the portions of the quest, afterwards, that require the group.

You can't be moving or mounted while accepting this quest. When you accept this quest you get mounted on a dragon that flies by itself. just sit back and relax and get 3050 experience for free. Next quest is called Buying Time.

conjure a healthstone

First time I got it it was bugged, I didnt fly on the netherdrake, nothing happenned. Abandoned the quest and got it again, then it worked.

It's not very difficult... Dismount before accepting the quest and you auto go on the bird thing... If it doesn't happen then you were mounted when you accepted so abandon quest, dismount and then get the quest again. It DOES work, and you don't need level 70 or the flying skill!

I just did this quest, i accepted and away i went on the drake, got back down talked to him and voila!

You must be off of your mount before talking to the quest giver. If you can't get on the Netherdrake, abandon the quest, dismount and accept the quest again.

Probably one of the easiest quests i've done in outland. I Accepted the quest when I was off the mount /shrug no problems here

Quest is not bugged, you just have to be dismounted when you accept.

Lvl 66 Priest - dismount - talk to quest giver...then you're off...very easy.

I assume you need to have to be level 70 and have the Riding Skill to ride a flying mount before you can do this quest?

I found my problem and this may be a help. IF you get the quest while mounted, you can't proceed. You have to abandon the quest and take it again. When working the minute you click "accept" you should be whisked into the air on the dragon. If not, try again. No other players needed for this part.

Just accept the quest, you get on the mount then log out. I logged back in and I was standing next to the quest giver, where I could turn the q in.

This quest is bugged, your suppose be FLOWN by the nether drake. This is blizzards way of saying "this is how it feels to fly in outlands, enjoy." Quest is bugged =(

This entire quest chain is soloable. It's kind of silly that every step in it has a 3 man suggestion. I mean, the first step is to hop on a free ride on a nether drake, no combat. "3-man"? What the hell?

All the monsters in this chain are kiteable, and all but the last can be frozen, feared, etc.

Step 1 - Survey the Land: Ride the drake. Collect XP.
Step 2 - Buying Time: Kill monsters. If you can handle a single mob of 30k hp, and a group of four 5k hp monsters, you will be fine. Just kite, freeze, fear, whatever.
Step 3 - The Master Planner. Single monster of 30k hp, very easy. Only trick is his magnetic pull which is an anti-kite. But it seems like you can run out of it, breaking it... or something. In any event, not challenging, just re-kite.
Step 4 - Patience and Understanding (Shattrath). Single monster of 22k hp. Hits hard and bugs a lot, but again can be kited very easily. Also has magnetic pull.
Step 5 - Crackin' Some Skulls. Three easy monsters you fight separately. The ogre is probably the hardest, but he's easy compared with Step 4.
Step 6 - It's that easy? Walk back to Altrius and collect XP.
Step 7 - Forge Camp: Annihilated. Two 62k bosses must be killed. Either get a group or run them back to base, and the guards will kill them for you. They cannot be snared or feared, but they walk very slow, so you can just lead them by the nose back to town. After you kill them, head back (they'll have respawned). You can pull them off (I used a water elemental), or you can just activate the key to finish the quest. Unlike most channeled abilities, it doesn't break on damage. And the second boss didn't attack me at all where I was when I activated the key. Your mileage may vary.

All told, if you are a class with decent kiting abilities, there's no reason for you to group with people, unless you want to.

This part was super easy you just fly around,

I am not sure why they suggest a group of 3 there is no need

If you're a warlock or have one on party, just Enslave a Demon and let him do your work. Just remember to damage each target a little by yourself or it doesn't count, nor you will be able to loot. Easy to solo.

To be my eyes will require some diligence on your part. Nethrandamus will take you through the Legion camps, but you must catalog everything that you see. Even the smallest detail that you may think to be inconsequential could be useful for our purposes.

Primarily, I want you to note what structures are in the camps and what comprises the camps' defenses.

Nethrandamus is ready when you are, <name>. Do not be afraid, he will keep you safe from harm.
