Same model as mage/lock s4 set but with a recolour, in the same way that warrior/paladin, shaman/druid, hunter/rogue are the same models.

Agreed, Juddson. Seriously this is the best they can do? It's almost patronizing that we pay every month, for such a half assed imagination from blizz. They need to change something quick, because them using the same models for other sets is just ridiculous. GG Blizz.

Blizzard generates over $100 million dollars a month from WoW. Well over one BILLION annually. I'm pretty sure they could bring on more artists if they were motivated to. There's no competition, and thus, no pressure to budget more money towards making all their patch content top-notch.

It's not like they're just sitting around in piles of money. They're a public company, which means they have certain profit margins they must maintain. Further, they've also got a couple of parent companies to worry about. There's also the next expansion they're working on. There's an incredible amount of work that must be done for it to launch. People are so quick to judge things they simply do not understand.

I really doubt there will be tons of people running around in identical gear. The rating requirements is simply too high for most people to attain more than two or three pieces, and even then you really won't notice said pieces. Those with real S4-looking gear will either be clearing Sunwell or in the top 5% or less in arenas.

Ok. So, I have seen that everyone is talking about how Blizzard made awful looking season 4 items, other than some of the weapons. Most people don't know why this is, but I have recently come into some knowledge. Because WotLK has to be so great in order to keep up with the players need for new content so that they don't go and play AoC or something else, Blizzard used all of their finest programmers to make it spectacular. The others were left working on the season 4 gear. Although you may want to think that this lame uncreative looking gear will stop and we will get some more cool stuff, it won't. Blizzard is planning to fire the best programmers for new ones so that they won't have to pay them as much when WotLK comes out. You are welcome for the information.
